Re: The You Game!
Portal seems to run properly now so maybe it's wine related whatever problem < is having. < isn't dead set on a distro yet and is just using mint to test stuff. < just wants to try familiarise <'s self with Linux for now.

< just wants to try get the games running for the sake of it though most games run much better on Windows.

OpenGL stuff such as the cemu emulator run much better on Mesa drivers than on AMDGPU drivers or Windows.

It seems the problem with lagging must be wine related somehow then.

R.E.M. - The Sidewinder Sleeps Tonite
so I’m not the only one who likes R.E.M. huh
I like a lot of their songs, they're all usually happy songs too aside from Everybody Hurts. I listen to Man On The Moon and Orange Crush a lot :)

Rayman Origins Desert of Didgeridoos - Lost Beats Extended
Lost Beats is great— I remember as an I-have-no-quality-standards year old kid leaving the 3DS version on the desert levels so it’d play and parading around with the speakers to my ear since I didn’t own any earphones :fou: oh the memories

Re: Rayman Origins
It's all about just moving as quickly as possible, there's no secret to it. Just use the hit button to spin when landing or before jumping in open areas because it boosts you a little.

Some levels I done were about 20-30 seconds earlier than the time needed, but there are some harder ones towards the end, especially since you're rushing and can easily get killed.

Thank you for the offer, but I think I'll try getting them on my own first with the tips I got, no offence. If I really, really need help getting them I'll ask here.
It’s fine lol. I really doubt I’d have the patience to record every single level in the game anyway

Re: The You Game!
< didn't do gaming on Linux yet.

Re: The You Game!
< was into Linux gaming before it was trendy Portal was native:

Thank you for the offer! :)

But I think I'll try getting them on my own first with the tips I got, no offence. If I really, really need help getting them I'll ask here. Though I'll say that I finished getting all the ones in both Jibberish Jungle and Ticklish Temples.

I’m not listening to anything right now.
Hi Fifo, it's been awhile! :)

I've switched from Jibberish Jungle to Desert of Didgeridoos music.

Rayman Origins Desert of Didgeridoos - Lost Beats Extended

Re: Rayman Origins
What levels haven’t you completed the time challenges on yet? I can send you videos of me speedrunning levels in Jibberish Jungle pretty much straight away, but you’d have to wait a day or so for anything else since I only just started playing on my video laptop.

On August 8th 2003, Pirate-Community was created for all Rayman fans to share their interest and to aggregate the best content about the series. Thirteen years later, we're on the verge of updating the website to a brand new version, with many great features and changes for the community to enjoy. Rayman Adventures is still being updated and played by many fans, new records are reached in Rayman 3, and hope is not lost for a new Rayman game. While the number of messages posted last year, 105,979, for a grand total of 1,155,132, is far from our record, it is still higher than the previous year and we have a good number of active members. RayWiki, available in seven languages, now contains a total of 4479 articles, 130 more than a year ago. RayTunes, now ten years old, is nearly complete, thanks to the many soundtracks added last year: Tonic Trouble (PC version and GBC), Rayman Jungle Run, Rayman Fiesta Run and Rayman Adventures.

So, stay tuned for the upcoming updates, long live Rayman, long live Pirate-Community!

RayTunes is nearly 10 years old! It's been a while since the last update, but the music collection on this page is nearly complete - especially with this latest update which includes not one but three new soundtracks.
The first new soundtrack is the long-awaited Tonic Trouble soundtrack (PC version). The soundtrack from the GBC version of the game was also added to the collection, thanks to L.M. Murphy.
Music from Rayman Jungle Run, Rayman Fiesta Run and Rayman Adventures was also added to the Rayman Mobile soundtracks section.
A rip of additional music from the Rayman 3 early preview disc is also in progress. Apart from that, we may also add music from the educative games in the future. You can check the forum here for news.
