Re: Linux
If you guys play games on wine do they run smoothly? If they don't then that's fair enough considering they're not native games, but if not then it's just something mine is doing.

Proton sounds promising so long as I can somehow get everything else up and running. Freesync doesn't work either on the open source (Mesa) drivers as far as I'm aware and the proprietary drivers just suck.

I really like playing around with the Linux OS though, it's actually fun to experiment with :)

Re: Linux
It's a new feature to be able to play Windows games through Steam on Linux, Steam Play is a work in progress and it might just be that. I looked into the Wine thing and most of the time it's a hardware problem.

< really wishes more people would respond to some game threads or something because yeah, while this is a game thread, it's not as much of one compared to others on the forum.
< definitely didn’t just make a game thread of <‘s own that < is waiting for people to respond to :’>

< just had that exact subconscious musical effect < described earlier, but this time it was over 7 hours ago < last listened to anything! < was about to put some music on and before < did, < started humming the first thing that came to <'s head. Lo and behold it was the song < had last listened to and paused half way.
It's actually kind of freaky...

Re: Linux
Portal on steam seems to run better fairly well and so did Tomb Raider. Both of those seem to have Linux versions. There's still some hitches that wouldn't be present in Windows so I've just been wondering why those might happen. GTA V isn't on the whitelist so that's fair enough that it doesn't work very well, but even the Cemu emulator can run without graphical glitches on Linux and at a higher framerate except it seems to look like it judders. I thought game hitches and stuff would be less likely especially the ones I get on the games ported to Linux (not Cemu, that uses Wine), considering that Linux is a much lighter OS than WIndows. I guess it's just something to do with the configuration since Linux has a much different way of being set up.

Re: Linux
Are you running the game with steam (or whatever service) or are you running the game directly?

I have to go the wrong way in the lost forest while playing Zelda BOTW.

- Nintendo still never answered my email so I still haven't bothered to play the Wii U since purchasing it. I'll be live chatting to them again tomorrow if I hear nothing by the afternoon.

Yesterday, I developed a new system which allows users to change their avatar side via their profile. They don't have to PM me anymore in order to become a baddie or to update his baddie avatar.

We've been waiting for it for months, here it is! No, it isn't RaymanRPG, but it's the domain name of the Pirate-Community! Forget hunchman801.jexiste.fr because now you can access Pirate-Community by typing www.raymanpc.com! It looks more professional, and such a community really needed it!

I've juste fixed the glitch which prevented members from editing their flag in their profile. Everything works fine now.

You'll notice that the Team, RaymanBD, RaymanTCG and RaymanENCYCLO pages were filled in, as they had remained blank since December 2004.

In spite of these updates, the MetalGearRayman page wasn't updated, since I'm still discussing with Sbir' about it.

And because its webmaster couldn't acess the internet and the website hasn't been updated for ages, the NotrAmiRayman website doesn't belong anymore to the Pirate-Community.

Maybe you had already noticed it, the PHP scripts in the Pirate-Community website didn't work anymore, and it was impossible to surf on it because of redirection and SQL queries problems, etc... I've just re-programmed the website, and it now works fine (with more quick scripts). Moreover, I fixed some glitches, as the error message before the news and the My Account page. I didn't complete the Team, RaymanBD and RaymanTCG pages (althought I'll do soon) and the MetalGearRayman and NotrAmiRayman pages aren't available, as their webmasters didn't do anything.

Hello everybody. As you certainly know, the online RPG linked to the Pirate-Community, RaymanRPG, isn't a simple project anymore but something real. I thought I could release it for Christmas, but it's impossible, there is still too much work to finish it quickly, moreover I'll be extremly busy during the holidays.
Anyway, I promise you that in a few months, you'll be able to play to the thing that will make the Pirate-Community more popular again!

Are you looking for fun? Then just visit the new website affiliated with the Pirate Community : Deathland.

This website contains images and videos... with a lot of blood!

But don't worry, the "blood" is nothing but red paint, and the victimes are simply elves mannequins. Enter Deathland... (it's french, but it's not a problem for the content)

From now, Super Moderators (who could already edit users Tings) can ban users. It will be easier for the moderators to get the good behaviour "rules" respected.

If you own a forum and if you're interested in my new mod, which allows admins to ban users by clicking on a button (in users profiles), then just download it here !
