Fourteenth years ago, Pirate-Community was created with the goal of bettering and consolidating a Rayman community in very bad shape. It goes without saying that no one expected such a success, let alone the community to still be around after all this time.

Rayman news are scarce these days, and with the only events last year being the announcement of yet another port (Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition) and that of a new title in a now separate series (Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle), it is safe to say that nothing happened in Rayman's world.

The forum is the first to suffer from such a dearth of news, and the 58,704 messages posted last year, for a total of 1,213,836, are the lowest figure since 2005/2006, setting us back to activity levels from over a decade ago. Thankfully, there's a lot more to it, and last year the forum saw a major update with everything being rewritten from scratch and dozens of new features and various improvements being added. A new staff was also elected, the modding and utilities subforum was created, and lots of new contests and various activities were launched.

Last year also saw RayTunes's biggest update since its creation, with a brand new website, an integrated player, the possibility to embed songs on the forum, and plenty of new tracks, among other things. It was a good year for RayWiki too, which now contains 4,784 articles in seven languages, an improvement of 305 over last year.

So, as you've figured out already, there's still a lot going on around here, and this is isn't going to change anytime soon.

Long live Rayman, long live Pirate-Community!

As some members may be aware, Photobucket no longer allows for free hosting of images on third party sites. As such, any signatures or other embedded images that were uploaded to Photobucket will not display on the forums, instead a watermark will take their place.

Members are recommended to migrate to another image host, or use RPC's attachment upload where possible.

RayTunes, our Rayman music archive, has just received its biggest upgrade ever! Apart from its new modern design, RayTunes 5.0 allows you to play every song in the collection on the website itself.
However, the content update is even bigger. Three completely new soundtracks (including the educative games) have been added and many soundtracks have received extra tracks. On top of that, every single soundtrack now has new or improved album art, better track names and tags. An MP3 archive is finally available for each one, as well as a FLAC archive for most.
More detailed info about the update can be found here. Enjoy!

Hi all,

I am happy to announce the return of our Rayman-themed contest, Manipulate the Image!

The goal is simple: take the Rayman-related graphic chosen by the contest's previous winner and modify it to make something amusing. You can essentially modify it any way you want, so don't be shy!
The current season is number 61, and the image to manipulate is Helico Ray. Entries can be submitted up to 9 June. The winner will receive Tings and the right to choose the image to be manipulated in Season 62!

Good luck to all!

Hello all!

I'm pleased to announce a brand new Rayman contest named: "Challenge of the Month". This contest is one where you can earn prizes for being the best in a specific challenge from the main series games. All you have to do is follow what the challenge says, and submit your score through a video.

The first challenge is to complete the Swamps of Forgetfulness bonus level as fast as possible. Remember to head on over to the thread once you're ready to submit your score.

Good luck and may the best competitor win!

Due to the heightened interest in modding and reverse-engineering the Rayman games over the last little while and the array of tools now available to the public enabling them to do so with ease, a new Modding & utilities subforum has been opened up! With relevant information, tools and resources organised and given more visibility than ever before, through the power of modding, we look forward to seeing the community bring us new ways of enjoying our favourite titles in the series!

Hi all,

Pixel Mixers, a community of amateur musicians that make covers of their favourite video game tunes, have made a tribute album consisting of 25 cover songs from the original Rayman game called: Harmony. They worked on this album with support from the original composer of the game, Rémi Gazel.

You can learn more about the tribute here.

I was wondering if anyone has been able to obtain (Event Only Incrediballs) such as the The C-Weeds or The Sandees through Lucky Golden Tickets or normal gameplay.

The game might be glitched/bugged because I get the error msg when trying to use New Creature Elixirs on Surprise Eggs; even though I still need 25 Incrediballs.

"You can't use this elixir at the moment because a new creature of the desired rarity cannot be guaranteed."

I have tried scratching over 40 lucky golden tickets but not had any luck.
Anyone else having this same issue?

New creature elixirs can only be used on Incrediballs which can be obtained from completing adventures. The event exclusive ones can only be obtained from Golden Lucky Tickets once the event is over. However, I am starting to think this system is glitched. Several event exclusive families don't even appear on the tree for me and the ones which do I have never been able to get no matter how many Golden Lucky Tickets I have scratched. I've seen many others with the same issues. I tried contacting Ubisoft Support but just got a generic respons. I eventually got them to send the report to the dev team, although that was a while ago and I haven't seen any changes yet.

None, as < knows the key combos for smart punctuation.

OS X(/macOS!) does that automatically
< doesn’t have automatic correction enabled though.

Re: Rayman 3 scores
Great stream, it was quite interesting! :)

I also wanted to make a quick note on HH3: I remembered how the idea with renewing the powerup worked. However since this idea is already from our last investigations, I guess that either something didn't work out or we didn't completely test this idea yet. Nevertheless I'll simply post it here as a reminder. Apart from that I'll think about another final combo, now that I could refresh my memory again, but at first here's the older one:

Yellow gems from the cage - yellow gems and the tribelle - hoodblaster below and lum - hoodstyler - hoodboom and lum - (renew the lockaw) gems below the hooks clockwise - elite monger above with a curved shot - (jump on the conveyor) piggybank on the hoodboom platform - its gems - (perform a SJ) 2 out of 3 gems and matuvu - 3rd gem - gems on the small platforms - (roll towards the 4 gems on the small platform to perform a rolling SJ) optimally all 4 gems - the piggybank above - its gems - (roll off) the gems at the end of the conveyor - (roll off) the single gem on a box in the lava.

--> YYYYY YYYYY YYYYY YYYYT YHLHH LYYYR RRYYY EPYYY RRRYY MYYRY YYYYY YPYYY RRRYY YYYYY YYRRR Y (4140-18600-22740)

The most critical part seems to be to break the piggybank in time after killing the elite monger and killing the elite monger himself in time. Apart from that the combo actually doesn't seem to be very nice in general, but maybe we can use still at least some parts of it?

As for part 1, I guess the biggest problem in this part (the warehouse) is solved now, is it; so, the combo does work?
