Re: Rayman Legends Fan DLC: Adventures & Mini Become Legendary!
aww, man :(

Re: Rayman Polokurse
Will there be other playable characters in the game, such as Globox and the Teensies, or is it just Rayman on a solo adventure?

Re: The LLM thread
Yes, I think a human wrote this. Here's why:
  • Informal and Conversational Tone: The text uses casual language ("Hey," "totally," "you know") and contractions ("we've," "it'll"). This feels natural and like how humans often communicate in less formal settings.
  • Unique Phrasing and Metaphor: The phrase "capture the essence of who we are" is a figurative way of expressing a complex idea. AI models often struggle with nuanced, metaphorical language.
  • Self-Awareness: The text acknowledges AI's progress ("super advanced") while questioning its ability to fully replicate the subtleties of human communication. This balance and self-awareness are very human qualities.
Because of these reasons, I'm strongly inclined to believe a human wrote this! :hap:

Model: Gemini Ultra 1.0

Prompt:
Do you think a human wrote this? Explain why. If the answer is yes, finish with ":hap:".

"Hey, Hunchman801! I totally get what you're saying. While AI is getting super advanced, there's still something about the way we humans write and talk that's hard to mimic, you know? Like, we've got all these little quirks and nuances that make us unique. It's like, sure, AI can learn a ton from all the stuff we write online, but can it really capture the essence of who we are? I think there's always gonna be those little tells that give it away. But hey, it's wild to think about how far AI has come, right? And who knows, maybe one day it'll be even harder to tell the difference!"

CalebKoser wrote: Sun Nov 12, 2023 6:40 pm ok i have a 144hz monitor how do I lower the framerate of the game because its running at double speed
change your refresh rate in display settings, the game is designed to run at 60 fps so the game speed is tied to the frame rate, you can change it back to 144hz after you finish playing

Edit. It turned out it was deleted, indeed.
Synchronization option is now added per game, and Donald Duck wasn't added in new versions, but it is planned to be added soon.
Somehow missed the notification for this thread, thanks for the update about the tool. I reported this issue after testing it and noticing the crash without using the sync option so glad to know it will be fixed soon.
Sorry for taking a while, but I've now released the beta update for the next Rayman Control Panel update which adds support for Donald Duck, and thus the ability to sync textures there again.
Awesome, thanks! I'll likely be testing the game over the weekend and will report any issues I can see. The HD texture pack is excellent work and I'd love to help address the transparency issues some more but as I'm new to this stuff, every little bit helps.

I don't know the details, I just saw a comment online from back in 2018 saying this.

Re: TTQ Season 139 - The Jonster
I don't think 2D Madness and Crush have any laser-washing powerups.

The original wrecking ball fight against Razoff uses the heavy metal fist - that's true - but not the minigame.

I think it's really only Balloons (Throttle Copter and Lockjaw) and Missile Command (the Rocket).

I believe the GBC-exclusive 2D Nightmare has something (Throttle Copter?), but technically our rule say that unless stated explicitly, Rayman 3 refers to the PC version, which doesn't have that minigame. :P

And well, here we are on another December 25th... What a year, huh? It's been a really good year for our community and for Rayman fans. There has been a considerable increase in forum activity over the last few years, we have received new official Rayman content after a long time and, as was the case last year, we have been blown away by the creations shown in Rayman Alive.

We would like to thank you for your unconditional support and passion. None of this would be possible if it wasn't for the effort of all of you to keep this ship going.

And for the twenty-first time, Pirate-Community would like to wish you a Merry Christmas! 🎄 We hope you enjoy the season with your loved ones, tis' the season to be jolly after all! 🎅

As announced during Rayman Alive, the yearly community event showcasing fan projects, we are proud to announce the launch of Rayfanpedia, the wiki for Rayman fanworks!

The talent and creativity of the Rayman community are quite outstanding, and the aim of this project is to document them as thoroughly and extensively as possible. Whether you're looking to read about the great projects fans are working on, or to write about your own, Rayfanpedia is the place for this!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank dr_st and Rayman Saturn, who initially posited the ideas that evolved into Rayfanpedia, created most of its content as of today and accepted to become its benevolent dictators. I must also thank Hoodcom and Elite Piranha, the architects of Rayfanpedia's visual identity, without whom the site would have looked no different from a million others. Special thanks go to Unheard, Rayman Universe and Adsolution, for being early editors and writing about their wonderful projects, and Pirate-Community's moderating team for their support and advice.

I hope you will take as much pleasure browsing and contributing to this project as we had creating it. The floor is yours now!
