Fourteenth years ago, Pirate-Community was created with the goal of bettering and consolidating a Rayman community in very bad shape. It goes without saying that no one expected such a success, let alone the community to still be around after all this time.

Rayman news are scarce these days, and with the only events last year being the announcement of yet another port (Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition) and that of a new title in a now separate series (Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle), it is safe to say that nothing happened in Rayman's world.

The forum is the first to suffer from such a dearth of news, and the 58,704 messages posted last year, for a total of 1,213,836, are the lowest figure since 2005/2006, setting us back to activity levels from over a decade ago. Thankfully, there's a lot more to it, and last year the forum saw a major update with everything being rewritten from scratch and dozens of new features and various improvements being added. A new staff was also elected, the modding and utilities subforum was created, and lots of new contests and various activities were launched.

Last year also saw RayTunes's biggest update since its creation, with a brand new website, an integrated player, the possibility to embed songs on the forum, and plenty of new tracks, among other things. It was a good year for RayWiki too, which now contains 4,784 articles in seven languages, an improvement of 305 over last year.

So, as you've figured out already, there's still a lot going on around here, and this is isn't going to change anytime soon.

Long live Rayman, long live Pirate-Community!

As some members may be aware, Photobucket no longer allows for free hosting of images on third party sites. As such, any signatures or other embedded images that were uploaded to Photobucket will not display on the forums, instead a watermark will take their place.

Members are recommended to migrate to another image host, or use RPC's attachment upload where possible.

RayTunes, our Rayman music archive, has just received its biggest upgrade ever! Apart from its new modern design, RayTunes 5.0 allows you to play every song in the collection on the website itself.
However, the content update is even bigger. Three completely new soundtracks (including the educative games) have been added and many soundtracks have received extra tracks. On top of that, every single soundtrack now has new or improved album art, better track names and tags. An MP3 archive is finally available for each one, as well as a FLAC archive for most.
More detailed info about the update can be found here. Enjoy!

Hi all,

I am happy to announce the return of our Rayman-themed contest, Manipulate the Image!

The goal is simple: take the Rayman-related graphic chosen by the contest's previous winner and modify it to make something amusing. You can essentially modify it any way you want, so don't be shy!
The current season is number 61, and the image to manipulate is Helico Ray. Entries can be submitted up to 9 June. The winner will receive Tings and the right to choose the image to be manipulated in Season 62!

Good luck to all!

Hello all!

I'm pleased to announce a brand new Rayman contest named: "Challenge of the Month". This contest is one where you can earn prizes for being the best in a specific challenge from the main series games. All you have to do is follow what the challenge says, and submit your score through a video.

The first challenge is to complete the Swamps of Forgetfulness bonus level as fast as possible. Remember to head on over to the thread once you're ready to submit your score.

Good luck and may the best competitor win!

Due to the heightened interest in modding and reverse-engineering the Rayman games over the last little while and the array of tools now available to the public enabling them to do so with ease, a new Modding & utilities subforum has been opened up! With relevant information, tools and resources organised and given more visibility than ever before, through the power of modding, we look forward to seeing the community bring us new ways of enjoying our favourite titles in the series!

Hoo boy, you're going to love the Death Tornado Spin.

Re: Guilty or Innocent Game
Innocent, but I have broken a mug that I had taken out to make tea, that left me a bit ticked.

Go on your PC in the morning as if it were your equivalent to reading the morning paper?

Your sig is a bit on the large side, I've resized it for you, just replace the link in your signature with this one:

Haha, you might as well just get a turntable, a vinyl copy of the song and an audio system :D

Re: Whats you're favorite sport to play
Badminton, tennis and bowling.

Re: You know you suck at Rayman when...
When you keep jumping way too early in Crash Bandicoot because you keep forgetting it's not Rayman and Crash can't fly/hover by holding x.

Ray502 wrote:I think it's the same case in Warped, though I can't confirm that. Haven't played it recently.

My problem exactly. So long since I played it that I literally can't remember. I'll have to fix that by getting the game again and getting the second one too. I'd rather play the originals since they made the N-sane trilogy much harder.

Re: Guilty or Innocent Game
Guilty. My old ISP years ago would throttle you to 15kb/s if you downloaded over 30gb in less than a month :?

Ever broke a glass/cup that had a drink in it, leaving you with both liquid and glass shards to clean up?

Re: Rayman Arena PC Widescreen Patch
Sbaffo wrote:How do i install this? Do i just download all the 3 parts and extract one part in the Rayman Arena folder?

Oh ! Adosolution already posted Arena CDs;

If you overwrite my files to those that you installed with Adosolution's CDs, you will get full widecreen play.
