Rémi Gazel, who composed most of the soundtrack of the original Rayman, unveiled a project which consists in replaying the tracks with real musicians. The goal is to reinterpret these, publish records and possibly organise shows if the project receives enough support.

Ten years. A decade ago, Rayman fans created an independent community to share their passion. In less than two years, it became the largest Rayman community, and grew over time to offer more content and services to the fandom and anyone interested. Its openness and freedom are only matched by the loyalty and dedication of its members, without whom it would be nothing by now.

While last year wasn't the most active we've had, with 89525 messages leading us to a total of 796709, 1853 articles on RayWiki, a figure that has risen by 10%, and many additions to RayTunes, the upcoming release of Rayman Legends is a great event for the community and allows us to imagine a bright future for the series.

Ten years ago, no one would have guessed that Pirate-Community would still be here today. And thanks to you, member or visitor, fan or curious, old-timer or rookie, we have all the reasons to believe that our community will still be here in ten years as well.

Long live Rayman, long live Pirate-Community!

Re: The Awesome and Cool Rayman Poll Thread
I've always remembered OoT as having an underlying darkness to it the whole way through with all the creepy enemies, the shadow dungeon, the dark undertones in the story etc. where Rayman felt more like exploring a mostly empty world where less of the engagement comes from story and characters and more from the world itself.
I'd say Rayman 2 has more of a Mario 64 feel (that is that you derive most of the fun from exploring the worlds rather than exploring the story, though of course M64 has a more wacky inconsistent theme) and Rayman 3 feels a little more like Jak and Daxter than a Zelda title.
For me if any game hit the sort of mature yet fun/silly mark it would be Rayman 2 to be honest.
Though come to think of it I'd quite like to see how the darker side of a Zelda game would work with Rayman, I just can't picture it in my head.

< finds it funny that at the moment Harold and R4Y_ANC3L have different ranks that nevertheless depict the same character.

Re: Your last dream
I can Remember a few months ago, I had a dreams that has something to do with Samara(the ghost girl from the movie, the ring)That one was one of the worst. First part of my dream,in the middle of the day, my little sister and I actually used one of those VCR Tapes that displayed lots of really weird things like worms and water drippings( including a faint glowing circle(Just like in the movie) Then suddenly, the ghost girl with her hair covering half of her face zoomed in and It was actually the only thing that can be seen, nothing else from the dream(just a big image in the mind. It zoomed in rapidly And I woke up from there. (After that, I never wanted to watch that movie again)
Sorry for making this sound like a campfire story But it happened.
