Thank you guys for the comments! I've been putting a lot of time into this, so it makes me really happy to see all my work isn't for nothing!
Yeah, there are some maps that are so broken they are sadly unfixable... Still, I'm currently working on a new version that should make it even more stable, among other things. I already fixed a crash when taking damage from the Rabbids that chase you while you're carrying the Teensy in the FPP_Exterieur area. Could that be the one you meant?
With that theory, this would be a plum medallion
When this medallion is complete, you're transported to the "wear shop", a magical-looking place (lots of tiny lights floating around you) where you can buy a part of a disguise in exchange for some of the Lums you collected. That's apparently how you would unlock the costumes in this game.
Anyway, this is definitely this game's version of LumsIts object name is always "Lum" or "Lums" and there is a lot of dialogue from Monik/Monique that mentions them - in French, where this plum/Lum mistake is a lot less likely. There's even some lore about how they became like this!
And a little bonus: it seems Lums are also used as some sort of energy unit, if we're to believe this description of a Bipod that feels straight out of BGE:- C'est triste ce qui se passe pour ces lums quand même...
Plums are also in the game, as bouncy white spheres named "prune".Ceci est un Bipod VXL série 8. Ce modèle est armè d'un canon à proton d'une puissance condensée de 50 Klums à la seconde. Une espèce d'oeil sur pattes en somme.

Coming back to this image…
How sure are we that the one on the right isn't supposed to be a "Plum" rather than a Lum? It looks a bit like an anthropomorphized plum, and it has one eye whereas Lums should have two…
- Re: RAYMAN IS BACK in 3D in new Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope DLC

I guess it took some creativity for a mainstream game company to decide to try NFTs, but that's not really the kind of creativity we want from them!
- Re: RAYMAN IS BACK in 3D in new Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope DLC

Yeah well it's unfortunately true. One of the titles that got scrapped was a Splinter Cell VR title, which is, another franchise that hasn't been touched in a long time. There's supposedly a remake coming, but there's been no news for quite some time on that. Another project was probably an Immortals sequel. But that's just a rumor.
Sad thing is, Yves is putting the fault on the developers. The ones making the games and coming up with creative ideas. He's been too focussed on profit instead of fun creative projects that engage people in meaningful ways. Ubisoft is indeed not the creative company that we used to love. And most developers at Ubisoft are actually fed up with leadership and Yves as well, because they're not having the fun they used to.
I'm keeping my hopes up, because before this there was news of the curation staff (they're the ones that ultimately greenlight games) being changed up and them focusing on smaller more meaningful titles. But with the recent news with Yves wanting to focus on their core titles (AC, Far Cry, etc.), I'm not expecting anything.

- Re: Extracting sound from Alex Builds His Farm
-
- You must copy the files present in "Alex Builds His Farm\Gamedata\World\Sound" and that you paste them in the folder "tonictac"
- Once you have pasted them, launch the Windows command prompt by typing "cmd" in the search bar of Windows
- In the CMD you should have a command line like this : "C:\Users\<YourPCName>"
- Now you have to go to the place where you put the "tonictad" folder. If you put it for example in "Downloads", you must type "cd C:\Users\<YourPCName>\Downloads\tonictac"
- Then you must type "tonictac.exe b <NameOfTheFileYouWantToExtract>.bnm" and the software should extract you the musics/sounds in the form of files .wav
- If the format of the file you want to extract is not .bnm but .apm, you have to replace the "b" in the command with an "a", otherwise it won't work
It seems complicated at first, but in the end you only have to enter two commands to extract the files
- Re: Rayman 1
-
Yeah don't worry, that's definitely not the final thing, that's just a concept of what can happen if you change the commands and the timings.
...and yes in that video it's impossible to beat without cheats as he dosen't cycle through to the bit wher you can hit the totem.

I am pleased to announce that the Pirate-Community's Rayman 3 Hall of Fame is once again fully functional, after over a year's hiatus! Now, as before, you can submit your score by entering the "Lums Race" code that the game gives you at the end. If you have finished Rayman 3 and your score is not yet in the Hall, please don't hesitate to submit your code now!
The algorithm for decrypting codes has been reverse-engineered, meaning that the Hall now functions without any reliance on an external service. Thanks to Steo for helping to get it working with codes on platforms other than PC!

Today, Pirate-Community celebrates its seventeenth birthday. While there hasn't been much Rayman news besides the release of the Rayman Mini spin-off, our community is still thriving, with many discoveries being made regarding the early development and the mechanics of old Rayman games, lots of tools being released to mod them and improve them, as well as partnerships such as the one with Rayman Together on Twitter.
Over the last year, 17,104 messages were posted on the forum, adding to a total of 1,336,695. It's not a lot, but it's still very much alive! Most of our growth was fueled by that of RayWiki, with 424 new articles last year, and a total of 5,728 articles in 8 languages today. Both places are still the reference for Rayman discussions and Rayman knowledge, while RayTunes, with the recent addition of the Rayman Mini, Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 and the official Tonic Trouble soundtracks, as well as new tracks and FLAC versions from various educational and mobile games, is indeed the reference for Rayman music.
Thank you all for your continued support: you made it possible for this community to keep going for seventeen years, and we will keep going for many more.
Long live Rayman, long live Pirate-Community!
