Re: Rayman 2
Totally. Even with the rushed development and the missing fourth sanctuary, Rayman 2 is an absolute masterpiece and definitely the peak of the series. The art direction is still incredible to look at today. The texture artists really did work miracles to make those environments feel so alive and ...

Re: Rayman: The Board Game
I begin to see this is not the only situation where people have to advance their cash before products are developed and shipped and it's taking forever for those backers to have their products at their hands. I didn't know the Kickstarter Exclusives got available for other people too but perhaps ...

Re: Rayman Legends Retold
Another idea I have is, what if it is Razorbeard? He is short, he obviously has metal claws, and to take his revenge it would make sense for him to hide in the shadows and spread corruption across the Glade. Since they are already trying to cram references to the older games into this new map ...

Re: Rayman Legends Retold
Great job on the video summary, RayWizard! It is really nice to have all that new info compiled in one place so quickly.
As for the villain, that Jano theory actually makes a ton of sense, especially with the Cave of Bad Dreams being highlighted on the map like that. It would be a perfect way to ...

Re: Rayman Legends Retold
I agree...
And Droolie is also right about the Murfy mechanic. Leaving that in the game without overhauling it is a huge missed opportunity. It always slowed down the pacing of the original game, and having to deal with it again here is a bummer.

Re: Rayman remake rumor - confirmed by Ubisoft!
Controller in hand, the basic feel remains very close to what players already know. The controls are precise, the movements are fluid, the visuals are stunning, and the level design is exemplary.
Okay, reading this specific part of the preview is a massive relief. If the core movement tech and ...

Re: Rayman remake rumor - confirmed by Ubisoft!
My only real hope if that the physics stay the same, and aren't changed to Legend's physics, but thats only because I dont know the movement tech in that game very well at all.
This. Origins has such a specific momentum to its movement tech compared to Legends. If they try to standardize the ...

Re: Rayman remake rumor - confirmed by Ubisoft!
I'm usually someone who doesn't mind remakes. I even played through the PS5 versions of The Last of Us and Horizon Zero Dawn. But Rayman Legends already looks absolutely flawless. There is zero reason to remake it.

Welcome and thank you for the update! I'll take it. You fixed the most widely reported bugs, which is good, and I wasn't expecting any changes to the OST regardless.

Re: Rayman 1
I found this interesting thread about an obscure bug involving Skops' claw:
In Rayman Advance (and on DSi) there's a bug where you can make Skops disappear, or even crash the game...!
I'll explain below how it works. As it turns out there's quite a lot at play here!

Re: Rayman 1
I have a lot of problems with this OST, even ignoring the fact that it replaces the original. First, the instrumentation is incredibly repetitive: you hear the same five instruments overused to the point where they appear in areas that don't make sense. On top of that, the mixing is rough, and the ...

Rayman 1 is hard to speedrun, you need to memorize all the cage locations and keep count of your Tings.
