Rayman Pirate-Community

I doubt they cut a good chunk of the levels and Lum count in the 1 port of Rayman 2 solely to put in mediocre voice acting. But the internet seems pretty dry for answers on how this port ended up less polished than the PC or Dreamcast versions.

Rayman is literally a franchise where you can pick five random songs from any of the main series of platformers and they'll likely all be masterpieces.

Anyway, "Chasing a Dream" and the credit remix of "Hoodoo Sorcerer" are currently fighting for dominance in my head.

It's certainly shinier than the original, with loads of vivid detail, but I still think I prefer the original. It just has more personality.

So in Rayman 4, Rayman was meant to have a fiancé named Simohne and André was meant to have a girlfriend named Monik. With their original concept art finally being dropped, I decided to draw them!

To be honest, I never saw Rayman or André being "romantic" types, as in, characters who needed or even ...

Anyway, this is definitely this game's version of Lums :) Its object name is always "Lum" or "Lums" and there is a lot of dialogue from Monik/Monique that mentions them - in French, where this plum/Lum mistake is a lot less likely. There's even some lore about how they became like this!

I'd love to see full models or at least concept art of Simohne and Monik! Their characters sound like they had the potential to be really interesting, though it's hard to imagine Ray and Andy with girlfriends!
