Then maybe try out Ray3Fix instead, it uses BR3 with different wrapper, but can't tell if it fixes the problem (possible):

yep it did fix it. instructions for GOG version dont match, because there is no ubi.ini and you dont have to make any TnL=0 edit anywhere ...

better rayman 3 seems to work just fine with gog version.
only issue is that it crashes if you alt- tab out of the game,
which will minimize the game, then crashes when you tab-back into the game.
