Re: Nikol's Fan(fic)works and other bits (and bobbles)
Maybe it could be mentioned in the first chapter that limbless people do exist but are thought to not be hero material? When reading it I got the impression that she thought he would be completely unviable due to his lack of limbs…
Nah, it wasn't the fact he didn't have limbs, it was because he ...

Re: Nikol's Fan(fic)works and other bits (and bobbles)
Ahh, that makes more sense now! Indeed, maybe it could be made clearer in the story that the Magician and Musician are limbless?
Noted, though I thought people knew from the start they were limbless, which is my bad, but will make it more clear!! Thank you for the questions!! That was fun to ...

Re: Nikol's Fan(fic)works and other bits (and bobbles)
Ah, I see… So then why was Betilla so disturbed when she realized she had created something without limbs? Some other shenanigans about how Raypeople are regarded that hasn't come to light yet?
Basically this is due to:
They, the inhabitants (not the Raypeople), never thought a limbless ...

Re: Nikol's Fan(fic)works and other bits (and bobbles)
Hey Nikol, I finally got around to reading all eight chapters today! It's definitely moving, I'm enjoying this take on Rayman's childhood! I got a laugh out of the bit about the stone computers :P But could Professor Virus be related to Mister Dark?
One thing I'm not clear on: the other ...

That Ssssam plush is absolutely adorable! 🥺 I love his little red bandana and how squishable he looks. Now I'm just sad this isn't real merch because I would buy one in a heartbeat! 💓
And don't worry about chapter 9, take all the time you need!
I genuinely wish that it was real, I'd 100% buy ...

It also announced earlier this week that all Studio Canal content will be wiped off their server, including stuff you've already bought.
This, ladies and gentlemen, is what we call the endgame. You will own nothing and you will be happy.
As unfortunate as that sounds, slowly every console dev ...

+ Drinking chocolate milk. Love me some Borden Dutch Chocolate Milk.
- We had to stop drinking Promised Land Midnight Chocolate Milk because they changed the formula. It tastes awful and has this weird aftertaste that the previous formula never had. It's a shame.

Re: Rayman 2: The Great Escape refuses to work on Windows 98 Second Edition
This looks more for a driver incompatibility, although probably the enumaration mechanism had some bug, maybe the same which also lead to broken white textures occasionally on some drivers. The game is fussy, anyways.
Maybe 86Box has some settings of video backend which you could change like ...

Rayman 2: The Great Escape refuses to work on Windows 98 Second Edition [SOLVED, see main post]
UPDATE: Thanks to Fifo, Rayman 2 now works as intended, as Windows 98 now has the proper drivers (though it had trouble, so Fifo reinstalled them and adjusted the colors to 16-bit instead of 32, which I think caused it to have a fit there as well lol). Thank you genuinely, Fifo! My nostalgic ...
