Re: Coffee or tea?

I used to drink green tea an awful lot but now it's occasional. Like if I'm offered a lemon green tea I wouldn't say no. I like the type you can get free alongside your meal at Wagamama. Green tea sweets on the other hand...are a bit weird. Maybe acquired taste. I know my fiancé's parents brought a ...

Re: Rayman Redemption

Basically the big lips. I would have thought the ring pirate was a parody of a parody (Baba from Asterix) of a parody (that other old Belgian comic, Redbeard?) but what do I know.

Love that song and a few others from OMD.

Currently listening to the Grimes song IDORU.

Much as I am incredibly annoyed about her baby boy's legal name, this song of hers rules.

Re: Movies you just recently watched

I got masochistic one day and watched Artemis Fowl on Disney+ knowing from word of mouth that it's awful and not much to do with the books. Good grief that movie is foul. I like how the film calls itself an "Irish fairytale" but idk, it makes Mrs Brown's Boys seem more like an Irish fairytale.

Re: Rayman streaming 📺

Sorry I didn't link to this myself but phew, I'm so glad to have finished the final showdown. I've still got achievements and Dark Legacy to do and such bu I think I'll do those in my own time.

I'm hoping to stream other Rayman games in the near future like Origins, GBC Rayman etc.

Re: Rayman streaming 📺

OK so we've set up for playing Redemption tonight at 7pm. By now I've freed all the Electoons and opened all the presents, got all the health and shop upgrades, but I think a few Magician tokens are still knocking around and I aim to give Mr Dark what for tonight. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2FV...

Keeping with the Motorola tradition I'm currently using a Moto G6 plus and have been since last year. Next year is going to be a bit awkward because of the current situation with Carphone Warehouse but eh.

Re: Coffee or tea?

I stopped putting sugar and milk in my general coffee a long time back so mornings are just espressos. When I do end up getting a plain cappuccino (eg in McDonald’s or Wetherspoon) I took a liking to putting a canderel rather than two tsps of sugar, it does the job along with cocoa powder.

Bloody typical. The one time we're all told to stay at home unless we absolutely have to go and buy food and medicine and the weather here gets brighter.

I've picked up my copy of Pokemon Ultra Moon that I had just sitting there for almost two years am and ploughing my way through that. That, and Pokemon Crystal on virtual console.

Re: Something Bothering you?/Daily Doldrums

I got the same thing in my left little finger back in October. It resolved itself after a while (taking time off work helped), though I thought (and Dad agreed) that the root of the problem was probably actually my shoulder. Could that be the case for you? That's a possibility, since I often have t...

Re: Something Bothering you?/Daily Doldrums

So I have a finger and a toe that have been partly numb for weeks. It might be from when both digits were pretty much squished by shoes and shopping bags and it seems neither heat or ice work on lifting it, so not even a hot bath was helping. But I guess it’s gradually coming back, just worried abou...

Re: GDPR

I had to do training about it before I left my previous job and moved out and basically it's more to do with how businesses/companies both online and off handle more types of data about the people that use it within Europe. It's pretty complicated but I don't think it'll necessarily mean the end of ...

My OH had an advert for a Cif product come up on his Instagram feed and Christ alive it's like something from Aphex Twin. Or Murfy, one of the two.

Re: Misheard Song Lyrics

I can think of a good few Elton John songs where I spent the whole time mishearing lyrics. Like with Sacrifice for example, I’d hear the line “cold, cold heart” as “coco pops”. Then with Goodbye Yellow Brick Road I misheard “going back to my plough” as “going back to my cloud”, and “hunting the horn...
