Yeah, there's the American dub in the NTSC version and the European dub in the PAL version. The maps also differ slightly, for example in the placement of a flying ring in the first Blue Mountains map, which makes a difference to whether or not a certain cage can be obtained without the running ...

I have a headcanon about the bullets that have mallets swinging out of them in Rayman 1. Mr. Dark created the hunters, but when he created their weapons he'd never seen a gun before and had no clue what one looked like, so he went with his best guess.

So I've been wondering this for a while now. Are there two different dubs of the PS1 version? I've heard two wildly different voices for the Magician for PS1.

I'm ashamed to say I've only played Rayman 1 (PS1, GBC), Origins, and Rush. The other games just lack the certain wonder and aesthetic that convinced me to play the ones I did. But I'd really like to play Rayman Color and Hoodlum Havoc at some point, when i get around to it.

I'm glad to see this creepypasta is still getting recognition. It was one of my faves!

Someone on Tumblr made a really neat Ray-Month Challenge where you draw a each day to a certain prompt regarding Rayman. For his 26th I think it'll be fun!

Rayman was Betilla's spell (a sun ray spell used to project her image) and Mister Dark was the Magician's spell (a shadow spell meant to spy on people)
