I seem to recall reading somewhere that they took out the bosses (and I guess some other sprites) because of memory limitations… Either way, it seems pretty arbitrary that they deleted Moskito but left in Rayman riding him. And also left in Tarayzan. And then they also left that weird Electoon gate...

Nice!! I'm glad to see the tool come to good use :D Really neat that the boss is fully functional. One day I might try moving over the R1 exclusive events to Designer by editing the .wld files. I'd imagine the code to handle them is all still there. Only issue is that there's probably a memory limit...

Yeah, you'd need to find a pointer in a static address which then points to the game memory, which will vary between instances. I'll look into what you linked later. I'm not too familiar with PS1 emulators and such, but would be cool to figure out a way to do it. For DOSBox I found a thread somewher...

You can now convert custom Rayman Designer maps to work in By his Fans and 60 Levels :) I also figured out how to change the level counts in those games, so you can essentially make your own expansion packs now. This also solves Designer's biggest flaw, that being that you normally can't use differe...

You can use the Android Debug Bridge you revoke its internet connection permission I suppose. Other than that I'm not sure.

Interesting, I didn't know that. The Jaguar version works kinda weirdly when placing objects (it uses another engine). Ah yeah, they messed up that entire map on DSi. Not sure what went wrong. The y-axis is offset by a lot for a bunch of objects, so some objects are even below the map :p

For that part the trick is to slide down without pressing jump. If so you will always go through them all perfectly.

I tried looking and I couldn't find an ETA which matched exactly. ETA 10 seems the closest to the Moskito one, so might be it. The indexes are different for each game, so just copying them sadly won't work. That's also why we currently don't allow adding events from the drop-down in EDU as we'd need...

Been doing some major refactoring to better support memory loading, as well as different types of event types (since R2 has a different enum...), so it currently wouldn't actually update the serializable type property from the editor. No, it's practically the same as the PS1 version. It's enough to just list the few differences I feel.
Regarding the Windows flashing, the code for it actually still in the PC version. Too bad it went unused.

I pushed a commit where Ray1Map now reads the alpha data. I tested to edit an EDU level and it seems to work now :)
