PC version fully supports the controller I purchased from Haruka. I didn't try 360 controller though.
I was able to use my PS3 controller on it once I'd gotten it to run on my PC.
Just tried out, it works ideed. When I tried it with my old PC a year ago it only recognized the buttons, but not ...

at least it does to me anyway.
How the fuck did they manage to mess that up?
IMHO, the HD-version is just another lazy port. All the UI-graphics look like scaled up and sharpened with a filter. Just play on PC (GoG.com) if you want HD and play on PS2 ...

Re: Rayman 3
Ohhh yes, the Knaaren really scared me when I played it as a little boy (7-8). So I didnt manage to play further, but I really wanted to. Therefore my older sister who was never into video games (except Sims) had to play through some places for me while I was sitting as far way from the TV as I ...
Re: Rayman 2
I think Ubisoft won't produce a remake in the near future, because the gameplay doesn't work well with the current gaming-trend. Everyone wants to play the next Battlefield-DLC or the next Assassins Creed, but noone wants to play another 3D-Jump-n-Run. For Ubisoft, it really isn't worth it.
Re: Rayman 2
Of course, Grolem 13 is a really lazy addition being not as creative and fun as the other bosses. But this fight fits a lot more into the Iron Mountains than the Pirate Mines (for example the sudden change to night) and the fact, that babies just give the Rain Mask, makes a lot more sense.

Re: Rayman 2
Ignoring Grolem and Biditank being far too easy, I really love those bosses.
Bud I do mislike how they mixed up the Precipice and The Echoing Caves, they have been perfect in the older versions. And why the hell did they decouple the first part of The Top of the World and made it a bonus level?

Re: Rayman 2
Revolution LOOKS better but looking at the graphics over all, the framerate makes the game so awkward to play. But I'm totally with your arguments why RR is a remake, but it just doesn't feel like one.
Re: Rayman 2
Why sarcasm? I watched a video where the guy shows, that you have to jump somehow on the spiders at the wall. I thought the devs made it intentionally like this.
IMHO, Rayman Revolution isn't a remake, just Rayman 2 with an overworld. It looks even better on Dreamcast. But Rayman 1 is still beatiful ...

Re: Rayman 2
Didn't know that, but I have just watched a video about this. Ubisoft/the developers should make more of this little changes in future versions (or just completely remake the game).OldClassicGamer wrote:I LOVE getting secret Lum in 3DS version in Tomb of The Ancients. It is like nowhere else.
Re: Rayman 2
The first part of The Echoing Caves is extremely fun, especially the door-glitch.
Re: Rayman 2
No, I didn't mean the whole PS1-Version, just the Whale Bay
Re: Rayman 2
The PS1-Version is a lot better indeed, I also like the slightly different swimming-controls. But I still don't like the level :p
And the music is really great, as always in the game.

Hey guys,
I just created an account for taking part in this discussion :)
So my favorite level is The Iron Mountains, because of the impressive river-gliding and the following cutscene, the pretty open shell-ride, the ship-flying-minigame and the fight against Grolem 13 on PS2. I also like The ...
