Now that i think about it, you are right in saying that voices worked better in Rayman 3 ( regardless of quality, to which i agree is decent), and that dialogue boxes would either spoil the mood and/or jokes , distract you, or not work in how the game progresses, most of the talking in Rayman 3 ...

With Globox the damage is done and i can live with him, but the piranha's were more... filler, as more of an obstacle than an enemy or character, usually dieing in one hit (one of the many 'characters' i would probably include in my list), if anybody knows any piranha species in the Rayman 'universe ...

I think raymanian should be an official language, rayman games are probably better off with subtitles and wacky sound effects, their voice acting isn't anything special anyway.

The Knaaren were less threatening with the things they said i mean 'Tear of his flesh' and 'crush his bones' scared me but 'does anybody have any cough syrup' and 'make him write bad checks' just made me laugh, even still i thought they were scarier than Reflux.
But yeah Rabbids have horrible ...

A folly to him ,but classic humor to the rest of us.

I think it might have changed from characters we could live without to characters we wanted not to be there . This title seems to fit the topic better.

how about regular crabs from rayman revolution and such, i didnt even know that *bleep* er was there and he made me drop the damn keg (the island where you fight axel).

Actually i didnt like the teensie highways at all, i felt the only reason they were there was to give me a damn seizure (the uss enterprise made a cameo, dont know how the hell they made their way into a rayman game).

i feel sorry for rayman, the "consequences" started as soon as he fell...
also thanks for reminding me, mudibogs were pointless too. (their beta designs looked retarded)

when you say bog of murk do you mean every character specific to it and/or just the area?

what character, or creature do you think wouldn't have made an impact on the rayman series, or made any major changes regardless of it/her/he being in the game.
for me tortoises, ninja crabs , bzzit (RR) and Bettila (R1).

I am pretty sure he is also known as razorface.... (bursts out laughing) , razorwife only makes him less threatening, she bullies him ( rayman m- dislikes- his wifes rolling pin).

I feel they made him less threatening with the voice in rayman revolution (my favourite rayman 2 port to date).

Does anyone consider razorbeard threatening by any chance?
he doesn't come across as a character who is creepy to me , more so a character who is trying to hard.
