This piece wasn't in the original PS1/Saturn/MS-DOS soundtrack, so I decided to make something in the same style as the redbook soundtrack.

I'd love to have more high quality Rayman 1 references on my PC for studying. Does anyone have some high res pics? I've already found some concept art, but it's all very low res.
I'm working on an animation project this year and I want to study the artstyle of Ray 1 for it.

Does anyone know how the art for Ray 1 was made?

I'm mostly talking about the backgrounds. Do you think it was painted and then digitized? Or that it was made digitally in high resolution and then downscaled to fit the game?
