Re: The You Game!

Interestingly < still has 14.71 also, despite being fairly dormant at times compared to 2018.

< also cringes at <'s old posts, we've all been there.

Re: The You Game!

< wonders if anyone could ever maintain a ratio of 69%. Even with <'s ridiculous amount of posts from when < was being really weird and hyper, < still only has 2.37%. It would need to be tripled to be 6.9. :P EDIT: < thinks Hunch is the only one here who has a fighting chance of reaching 6.9, ...

Re: The You Game!

< is glad that ^ had fun. < has been very into NES / Famicom stuff lately. < bought a Famicom and a converter so < could play <'s flash cart in the Famicom at NTSC speeds. < will need to modify the converter though by cutting a trace and adding resistors in order to get the expansion audio to work.

Yeah I wasn’t sure whether you knew about it so I thought I’d letcha know ;) Thanks for that, it turns out pacman has already gotten rid of the version with the backdoor also. Phew at least you’re safe! Anyway, both my main machine and my VPS have 5.4.x, I checked yesterday Yeah it's good that it n...

Re: Linux

This is pretty disturbing. I also use Arch at this point so I wonder would that have made it as far as this. Fifo had tried to message me about this yesterday also, but I'd forgotten to look into it. EDIT: Yikes! :fou: [steo@steo-arch ~]$ xz --version xz (XZ Utils) 5.6.1 liblzma 5.6.1 EDIT 2: Arch d...

< feels like <'s mother is like that with chocolate too. < likes chocolate of course, and < often buys milk chocolate digestive biscuits even over in Sweden. < might be a little addicted to caffeine though, < always drank a lot of tea / coffee, and < has gotten really into coffee again after realisi...

Re: Ramon, Our Only Hero (CL Rewrite)

I used to watch South Park when I was 7, and play GTA when I was a kid (as did many of my friends / relatives). It's up to parents as to whether they allow their kids to be exposed to these things at the end of the day, nobody needs to blow a fuse over it, especially when it's not their place. There...

Re: The You Game!

< thinks that's true actually, the fact they're so common makes you not even pay attention to the fact they're there, similar to how your brain automatically filters out the clock ticking, but the tap dripping into the sink could be driving you crazy at the same time. :P < has had that phenomenon to...

Re: The You Game!

< remembers when a bunch of guys at work did a First Aid course, and they got a handbook. The last few pages were about electrocution, and there was a very cartoonish illustration involving a pile of dust with eyes and a mouth where a guy had just touched high-voltage power lines. < found it amusin...

< wouldn't know even nearly ass much about electricity as ^ or ^^, but < is still interested in the topic as a whole. < is aware of things when it comes to appliances, and also servicing them. Same goes for electronic components on PCBs etc. < doesn't really know how things work on a larger scale th...

I bought my girlfriend a bottle of wine this year along with some roses and a card. I had a few beers while she drank her wine and we just chilled. It was a fun day. :)

Re: How's the weather?

Are those studded tyres? When I was in the Lofoten islands in Norway, the rental car came with those and it made driving on the icy roads really easy, even with a 2WD. Yeah exactly those. It's amazing since I'm so used to snowy / icy conditions being dangerous for driving, but these tyres make it s...

< didn't have the money to fork out on something this expensive, so < is just settling for some RetroTINK 2x clone for now. < still has the OSSC for now, and < likely won't have to think about setting everything up at once like that until < has a lot more space. :P

< enjoys being able to listen to the songs on the real hardware, < always favoured real hardware over emulation.

< is glad that ^ enjoys it, FF7 is an amazing game. < might look into it later too.
