the crystals aren't in the port, but the disc and village are.
I think you get them from getting all 1000 lums.

I got my copy of the game from there; my iPhone is jailbroken so it can run any ipa file.

The only parts of the game that involve tilting are the flying shell parts and the sliding part at the beginning, and the prison ship sliding. I guessing that the prison ship sliding uses the tilt sensor because whole 2 sections of that level are sliding, and then the last part is the flying shell, ...
