Re: Jak and Daxter
I paid the retro game shop in my area a visit yesterday, and was fortunate enough to find copies of both Jak and Daxter The Precursor Legacy and Jak 3 for PS2 in good condition. I've made it to the Precursor Basin with all Power Cells and Precursor Orbs collected thus far in TPL. I have been enjoyin...

A project on Kickstarter that I came across. It looks quite good and I would love to see it fully realized, so I decided to inform other members at RPC about it. Re: Jak and Daxter
Has anyone tried the Jak and Daxter Collection for PS Vita? I heard it hasn't been recieved very well by critics or players alike, with many complaints about framerate and controls. If you have played it, what is your opinion?

Re: Official Playstation Topic
The original PlayStation was fantastic, but Ico and Shadow of The Colossus are a force to be reckoned with. Plus, the PS2 had a quite expansive (yet sub-par) remake of Rayman 2. Not to mention games like the Jak and Ratchet trilogies (they're good, so I've heard), Okami, and Beyond Good & Evil. ...

Re: Official Playstation Topic
I would have to go with the PlayStation 2 as well, but the original comes very close, indeed. The PS2 is one of my favorite consoles of all time, because of its large library of great titles and backwards compatibility with the massive PS1 library as well. It was my first game console, to add in as ...

Should we perhaps create a poll for which console\handheld in the PlayStation product line is the most favored?

Re: Rayman Legends
This is quite good news, indeed. It will be quite interesting to see BG&E 2 with such a design philosophy. @Master, Frankly, I do not want to see another two-dimensional Ubiart Rayman game, but a three-dimensional title would be splendid. I personally would want to see Beyond Good & Evil 2 c...

Re: The Oddworld Topic
I found a copy of Abe's Oddysee for PS1 at a shop specializing in retro video game products for $8.00 USD a few months ago. Having known how a few members here at RPC like the titles so much, I picked it up, not having a clue of what to expect. I started playing it and enjoyed it thoroughly, unfortu...

Re: Rayman Legends
While the game is so ridiculously over-varied, the artistic flaws ironically make it feel like it lacks so much variety at the same time. Sorry, you lost me there. I didn't actually "grow up" on the franchise either, despite the way my opinion sounds. I only discovered the franchise back ...

Re: Rayman Legends
I didn't actually "grow up" on the franchise either, despite the way my opinion sounds. I only discovered the franchise back in 2010 by coming across a copy of the PC version of Rayman 1 when I was 11 years old. And while some opinions may be driven by the slightest hint of nostalgia, the ...

I just completed Ico and am playing Shadow of The Colossus now, they are quite amazing. And of course, I'm playing Rayman Legends as well.

Re: Rayman Legends
I disagree that R3 has more atmosphere than RL. That's just impossible. The surrealist-yet-legendary settings supported by epic music in Rayman Legends are for a mile more interesting than the dirty swamps and grey forests with generic music from R3. If every level in R3 was more like the fairy cou...

Re: Which PEGI symbols have you seen in a game so far?
Should we perhaps make a separate thread for ESRB symbols or change this one into a global software rating thread covering ESRB, PEGI, and CERO ratings?

Rest assured PS Vita players, it would seem Ubisoft is releasing a free downloadable patch that will restore all 28 Invasion Levels to the PS Vita version of Rayman Legends.

I believe I posted this in the Off Topic thread sometime ago, but here it is anyway.
What I really love about it though is a how minimalistic and non-contextual it is. Everyone can interpret it in their own way.

Re: Rayman Legends
I am almost complete with Fiesta De Los Muértos. I still cannot say what my favorite world is quite yet. Toad Story has a vast amount of potential, only to be ruined with repetitive landscapes and mechanics, plus, the unfitting music in many areas. Also, I wanted to inform that my Username has been ...
