Re: Rayman Legends

I finally acquired my copy of Rayman Legends. I have completed Teensies In Trouble, freeing all Teensies. I also have two Back To Origins levels and four creatures. I am enjoying the game fairly well so far, with my only complaints being lack of story, atmosphere, immersion, etc. and how inconsisten...

Re: Rayman Legends

Does anyone else recall the many occasions where Emile Morél had stated that the gameplay sections that required Murfy would be completely optional in the Wii U version? Perhaps it was disabled in late development?

Re: Rayman Origins

Has anyone noticed Rayman Jungle Run has completely disappeared from the Windows Store? Is there any explanation for this?

Re: Rayman 1

Although not directly related to Rayman 1, but it seems I've encountered a problem with my Rayman disc for PSX. The game was having some audio issues (skipping, etc.) likely due to scuffs and scratches on the surface of the disc, so I ran the disc through a CD cleaner I own. The surface appears to b...

Re: Jak and Daxter

How is the original game? I thought about picking up a copy for PS2 considering it is quite common and cheap here.

The Lion King on Sega Genesis, the first few levels range from reasonably to devilishly easy, but I can't get past "Hakuna Matata".

Re: Rayman Legends

I knew that threre was probably a PC version in the works, and it seems so. While I believe the game should have remained Wii U exclusive because it took advantage of the unique capabilities of the Wii U, Tis, only fair if a PC version is made when the game is on all other major formats. I'm surpris...

Re: Rayman 2

I know this is probably a commonly asked question, but why exactly was the PSX version of Rayman 2 modified so heavily? I recall it once being said here that it was due to the restrictions of the RAM in the original Playstation, causing many of the levels to be modified, completely redesigned, or re...

Re: Rayman Legends

Has anyone else noticed the almost nonexistent E3 coverage of 'Legends. Most of it can probably be rooted to how Ubisoft only briefly showed new footage of the game in a minute-and-a-half duration trailer, but there's not even any off-screen demo footage captured by attendies that I have managed to ...

Re: Rayman Legends

I actually don't mind Barbara's large presence in the trailers. Aside from the "Epic" trailer at E3, I really haven't noticed it, Rayman, himself usually gets just as much screen-time as Barbara. Plus, She also seems to please the players outside of the Fanbase. I used to be neutral about ...

Re: Rayman Legends

According to a preview with VentureBeat, it seems that Murphy is implemented in the Xbox 360/PS3 versions by button presses, or in other terms, not so quick quick-time-events. For the other versions of the game, however, one player can press a button to move and guide Murfy to areas of interest and ...

Re: Rayman Legends

I'll just quote my review from the Rayman Origins thread: It is terrible, just plain terrible. The great gameplay and extremely responsive controls are still there, but everything else vital to the game, just simply isn't. The crisp visuals and lush backgrounds have now become a pixelated blur and q...

I'll just leave this here in case no one has read it. It seems the developer of the Vita port is none other than Ubisoft Casablanca. Let's just hope this port turns out good. :tssk:

Back on topic: Does anyone desire for the "zoom" camera function from the Vita version of RO, to be retained in the Vita port of RL? I am speculating that it might return from analyzing the batch of screenshots released earlier today, To demonstrate: https://fbcdn-sphotos-f-a.akamaihd.net/...

Re: Rayman Legends

I like the new stuff shown in the trailer, but haven't the Wii U owners lost all of their exclusive stuff (except two skins) now? I can imagine some people will be disappointed about that. I'm not though (as I'm not getting either of the systems). :) Also, the stormy graveyard-like world reminds me...

Re: Rayman Legends

Diddy, yes I guess, he did come in DKC first, I think. The Star Fox team? Nuh uh, their first game was on the SNES, and I believe it was a mixture between one of Ninty's own studios, with Miyamoto being producer, and some other studio, whose name escapes me, Rare was only responsible for one Star F...

Re: Rayman Legends

It's fun how my overreaction was taken so seriously. No but seriously, a lot of Wii U fans will react like that and avoid the game. If some already did because of Barbara's AC costume, this will definitely be a bomb for others. My sincere apologies Sergio. I did not understand that you were merely ...
