Re: Rayman Origins
I'll put it this way: Rayman Origins is awesome, but if you're a decent player (not even a hardcore player, just a decent player) you'll beat it in 1 or 2 days, and... that's all, the game ends... there's nothing else to do, there's nothing else to replay. I still had more difficulties with Rayman ...

Re: rayman's personality changes
In the Rayman 3 gba port of the game, for the few of what we see of him, Globox is more similar to rayman 2 in behaviour.

Re: rayman's personality changes
Yes. That's a big problem in this series. The developpers did'nt "fix" the personnality of the characters. So they are just random in their every single appearance . let's look at Rayman Rayman 1: He's a character without really personalities exept being cheerful and well intentioned. Raym...

Re: Rayman Origins
Rayman 3 takes place in the 'Crossroads of Dreams,' however in French it still retained the name 'Glade,' I believe. So yes, it does take place in the Glade. Besides, if they leave the rest of the world unexplained, that gives rooms for fans to expand upon this. In french the "glade" of d...

Re: Rayman Legends
In my opinion, the first Rayman 4 project, with the return of the bandland and the picture city was even beter than the scrapped Raving Rabbids.

Re: Rayman Origins
I remember having a similar discussion about this a while back. We could always assume the effects of the confrontation between Rayman and Jano were such that it caused those involved to forget the events which occurred. The fact remains however, that Rayman's original purpose was to defeat Jano an...

Re: Rayman Origins
There are still inconsistencies or retcons.
Like Rayman having beaten Jano shortly after his birth (RO manual) despite they don't seem to know each other in Rayman2, Betilla introduces herself to Rayman in the first game even if she created him, ...

Re: Rayman Origins
If Rayman is one of a kind, then why there is other rayperson? And about hair... in the trailer, Rayman was created as he is. But cutscene says that he was bald originally... what the heck? What's the point of this strange cutscene then? Retcon....and it's not the first one in this series. Like the...

Re: Rayman Legends
That change was a real let down for me! When they scrapped the idea of putting the game before Rayman 1 the entire game was a lost cause because now it had no reason to be in 2D , there was no need for the childish rayman to exist with that clingy girlfriend smile (shivers), and the origins of ever...

Re: Rayman Legends
In Rayman 2, indeed, he seemed a little less confident. He was determined, sure, and confident in the fact that he would give it his best to ensure he would help stop the Pirates any way he could, but he knew they were a real threat and that he might not be able to make it 'til the end. His kind an...

Re: Rayman Legends
I disagree. For me Rayman 1 was the best for the difficulty, the level design, the backgrounds, the soundtrack and the athmosphere.
I also enjoyed Rayman 2 but Rayman 3 was disapointing for bringing stupid and easy jokes that remaine in the serie since.
(I know i won't make friend after saying that)

Re: Rayman Legends
I agree. Something i realy liked in the original Rayman, was the fact he changes of look in several situations (smile while jumping, tremble against the boss, ...)
Here he kept his smile in every situatons . In Rayman Origins, his lack of reaction in front of the Magician was wierd.
