Seeing as Lividstones are still in this game, there's no reason why they couldn't put one in there. Could this be story-related? I don't see why it should. Maybe they forgot to put him in the airship. Maybe it's a glitch... I remember Origins had a terrible amount of glitches with background airshi...

That Flying Ship in the Glou Glou level had an empty cockpit...
