Re: Religion – your views

Reading back, I see how I sounded like I might be defending religion/Catholicism, but I wasn't. I just know Catholicism well because of the Orthodox climate, and most of my peers started following Catholic churches when we moved here. I never believed, though I felt some belonging pretending that I ...

Re: Religion – your views

but when I saw that you are a woman, maybe you are just very clever, and invent such things which I actually "heard somewhere before". What does gender have to do with an ability to argue? Broad statistics of a demographic with high variance do not define individuals. I received the same ...

Re: Rayman Origins

Fair enough, because Rayman doesn't exactly have outstanding villains. Razorbeard for exmple is amusing and has a great name/design, but again, is only what he is.

Re: Rayman Origins

I agree the Magician is a cool idea for a villain. Unfortunately that charisma from Rayman 1 is strangely missing entirely in the game where he becomes a villain, which is where it needs to be. Imagine if, in Rayman Legends, the Magician had the personality he had in (American) Rayman 1 intro? He wo...

The framerate is emulated. PCSX2, like any emulator, will always read 60/50 FPS unless your hardware is actually lagging it or you put on a limiter/frame skipper.

Re: Rayman Legends

The problem I have with Sonic games is that it's set in a world that wants to be taken way too seriously, like, involving the goverment, cops, the death of a child named Maria, guns. None of those ideas sound awful, their execution just was. Ok, let's be frank here. It's a 3d platformer from a fair...

Re: Religion – your views

I don't know what is fun in that, my religious view is actually wide and open and advocates tolerance. Religion cannot advocate tolerance, tolerance is a personal matter. Religion is only about the supernatural, and the supernatural can only encourage tolerance through threat. If only religion has ...

Whenever this is said, they never say how those things relate to depression, or curing it.

The only "good automatic things" are brain developments, because you may grow out of it as you mature.

If it was running at 60 FPS, then it would be as smooth as the Dreamcast version.

How are you doing that, anyway?

What do you need a manual for to play a game?

I don't really call console game manuals "manuals", I say "case art cushions". They only contain mandatory safety information.

Re: Religion – your views

I was raised Christian and until about 9th grade, I blindly accepted it. It was at that age that I began to really think about the world around me, and I realized that logically there is no god. Of course, I've never told my family, as that would break their hearts and cause them to panic that I wo...
