Rayman Pirate-Community

I finally did it! I made it to World 5 and beat it on my first try! Honestly, I found it easier than World 2 and 4. The hard part is getting there, as you have to restart the whole game if you die and there is no shortcut to it unlike the other 4 worlds.

Has anyone else played this game? It is on Steam, PSN, and XBLA. It is harder than hell, but still fun. It is cool that the Lets Player in this video got the developer to play with him.

Parts of this music remind of the music from the GBC Rayman games (Especially 0:23 to 0:35 and 0:47 to 1:09), and the level in this picture reminds me of legends, with all the big and small guys (Including some flying ones).

I think the 8-bit levels are a great idea, and yes it feels a bit cheap to use it on excisting levels. but just imagine playing woth either pixels or a super round screen on a totaly new level you will probably get lost. And personally, I don't get any headaches or such for playing them :/ Or they ...

With that Toad model, just imagine the graphics that the next 3d Rayman game is going to have. I tend to have a moment of extreme excitement fill my body when I think about a brand new 3D Rayman and then this army of sadness that erupts over it when I realise it would still have the Origins/Legends...

Hm, extremely positive there. Is it just me, or did the gameplay there look a bit washed out? Nitpick, but the game looks much more colourful than that review showed. I'm curious to see if Yahtzee will be doing a review on Legends, given as his style of review tends to focus on the negative aspects...
