Moonlightelf - What the HELL? She's extremely ballistic.

Post by Hoodcom »

So, talking to Ryo's friend Moonlightelf, she had the nerve to say a few things that really just was the last straw with me.

First, how I even talk to her was when she came to me via a DeviantArt note requesting to role play since a friend of mine who is a friend of hers colored a picture of Reese and put it on her DA profile.

And I don't talk to her very much, but this just is more of a reason not to, and I mention this now to see if I am not the only one who thinks she's some control freak or whatever?

Reese (4/24/2015 11:55:38 AM): Hello there, moon!

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 12:22:16 PM): Hiya. Sorry about late answer, I was at sauna and shower after well-earned work

Reese (4/24/2015 12:24:03 PM): It's okay, I ended up eating lunch.

Reese (4/24/2015 12:24:08 PM): So how are you today?

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 12:24:19 PM): sore from feet and muscles.

Reese (4/24/2015 12:26:14 PM): I've been practicing, and here's even my first proper shading attempt even... http://reeseriverson.com/rriverson/Reesepractice-color-4-23-15_smallres.jpg

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 12:28:47 PM): Hmm... still little flat, but it's improvement

Reese (4/24/2015 12:32:14 PM): I have a bit to learn on shading, but I do plan to learn that too.

First, I'm focusing on drawing well.

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 12:32:51 PM): good luck with that

Though... how's the city coming along?

Reese (4/24/2015 12:38:54 PM): I still need to familiarize myself with the terrian tools, but it hasn't gotten made yet. Tools confused me, but I hadn't touched that game (or any games) for a while now, since I've been trying to work on my artistic skills.

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 12:39:45 PM): *tilts head, giving little "you had one job..." look*

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 1:45:44 PM): You just can't get anything done, can you? *tilts head other way*

Reese (4/24/2015 1:47:28 PM): I do eventually, but excuse me for being busy with other things.

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 1:47:48 PM): Typical man. Can't multitask. No offence.

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 1:48:39 PM): Though seriously... I thought you RPed for fun.

Reese (4/24/2015 1:50:00 PM): I do, but a lot of requirements can slow things down, like said city.

I'm not that quick on coming up with things, ask Ryo.

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 1:52:53 PM): I don't think I gave that many requirements. Sure, parkour... but that's that. Did you even watch that Assasin Creed parkour video?

Definitely will ask about that

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 1:54:45 PM): ...yeah... *eyes you*

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 1:56:06 PM): ...blanking on Reese and his own grandfather?

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 1:58:31 PM): I'd like to hear what's story behind that one?

Reese (4/24/2015 1:59:38 PM): What do you mean blanking on Reese and his grandfather?

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 2:00:04 PM): You told me to ask Ryo and I did ask. *tilts her head*

Reese (4/24/2015 2:00:55 PM): I didn't blank anything with those two, all I said is I ought to have his grandpa take Reese and his buddy camping, and let them invite a couple of friends

Reese (4/24/2015 2:01:14 PM): Ryo responded with "You could."

Reese (4/24/2015 2:01:25 PM): I have not responded back yet.

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 2:13:40 PM): Well... "ought to" refers to being not so sure about it. Do you ever plan things ahead or do I have to do everything when reaching certain points? Because I don't mind showing how pro at imagination like me can do it.... *smiles*

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 2:14:51 PM): Though during all the RPing years... honestly... I've never had problem with starting one.

Reese (4/24/2015 2:18:07 PM): I have my good days, I have my off days. Sometimes my mind seems a bit foggy and depending on what's going on around me how it effects my ability. I do role play for fun, but I usually do what feels comfortable for me. Things that require more concentration just need to be done when I am not pre-occupied, or on my better day.

I never been a good role play starter so I tend to keep things simplified, but that's what I generally am happy with. If Ryo starts something, it may be a couple of pages worth of intro for a new role play of his own.

Me, maybe a paragraph or two. (Which anyone else I can role play with is the same as me in situations.)

Reese (4/24/2015 2:18:19 PM): I usually think as I go.

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 2:24:50 PM): Well... ought to start now learning. Nothing can't be accomplished if you keep being "I never been". Time to change it to "I'm not finest, but at least I try".

I'm not Ryo when it comes to making intro, but at least I try. In fact... his intros aren't exactly couple pages, but relevant to the situation at hand. The longest post I've seen from him...? Nearly one page.

Reese (4/24/2015 2:26:06 PM): Well sometimes it's too much detail for my taste. I like detail don't get me wrong but I have a preference in a proper balance.

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 2:26:41 PM): Though detail is still essential, especially when describing a character.

Reese (4/24/2015 2:28:49 PM): I know Reese is easy for me to discribe. Blue wolf boy, who's age 13, brown messy hair, dark blue eyes, a black sleeveless shirt with a nintendo gamepad on the chest, and tand and black cargo shorts Then a set of matching shoes.
Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 2:29:58 PM): What is his nail color?

Reese (4/24/2015 2:30:20 PM): black

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 2:30:41 PM): his worst/greatest fear?

Reese (4/24/2015 2:31:29 PM): Clowns and Tornados.

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 2:31:34 PM): Why?

Reese (4/24/2015 2:33:31 PM): For the former, I had in mind because one was pretty scary looking when he was a young child, back when his Grandpa took him and his sister to a circus.

For the latter, likely the same reason as me... I never am sure what made me fear tornados... other than just living in an area that had them a lot. Not being in one, but they are very deadly forces of nature.

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 2:34:41 PM): How does he define what is good or morally desirable?

Reese (4/24/2015 2:36:48 PM): I guess if I am understanding the question right...he likes and desires friends, and desires to play sports and games.

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 2:39:11 PM): *plays horn as wrong sign* This isn't from likes and desires... it's about defining what is good or morally desirable. How he defines what is good? How he defines what is morally desirable.

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 2:43:41 PM): In short... lets have the mentioned friend as example for now... how he would define that the friend is "good"?

Reese (4/24/2015 2:45:30 PM): Well, because someone actually becomes his friend, I suppose. Good friends go a long way.

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 2:47:28 PM): Would he sacrifice someone he loved, for a good enough cause?

Reese (4/24/2015 2:48:15 PM): What, you mean kill someone he loved? I highly doubt that.

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 2:49:02 PM): Well how do you define sacrifice then?

Also, don't worry... I have 11 pages of different kinds of questions I can ask on a whim.

Reese (4/24/2015 2:49:56 PM): Well... typically when I hear sacrifice, it's when it involves... sacrificing animals for example.

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 2:50:51 PM): Aka letting go of things at times.

Who was his first kiss?

Reese (4/24/2015 2:52:21 PM): Ah, well if letting go material possession for someone's sake that he cares for, probably would be something then.

First kiss at his age? lol seriously?

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 2:53:30 PM): Just answer the question. Heck... some get their so called first kisses really young nowadays for goddesses sake.

Reese (4/24/2015 2:55:02 PM): Well at his current age no one. Later in life, out of my characters, Maybe it'd be Kat.

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 2:56:43 PM): Favorite meal?

Reese (4/24/2015 2:57:46 PM): Well, it'd be either cheese burgers or something my mom cooks I love, called Mexican Chicken.

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 2:58:27 PM): He's leaving and can only say goodbye to one person. Who would he choose to see?

Reese (4/24/2015 2:59:53 PM): Define time frame of leaving, or even if it's his family moving away. Because there's too many variables to this one.

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 3:00:42 PM): I think "to one person" says it all.

Reese (4/24/2015 3:01:40 PM): Not really.

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 3:02:27 PM): How about not thinking about it too much with all the variables?

Reese (4/24/2015 3:03:27 PM): Fine, we'll just assume under a situation where his family is moving away.

Probably his best buddy, who is Ryo's character Marvin.

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 3:04:19 PM): Why does he bother? What makes whatever he does better than giving up, or even just laying down and dying?

Reese (4/24/2015 3:05:20 PM): He doesn't want to die.

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 3:06:00 PM): What is his earliest memory?

Reese (4/24/2015 3:07:31 PM): His sister pushing him into a christmas tree at his grandparents... making him cry when he hit his head on something. This is the earliest thing that was mentioned in a role play with Ryo a while back.

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 3:08:20 PM): The police has arrested him for murder and he has one phone call - who does he call?

Reese (4/24/2015 3:09:09 PM): What a silly thing to ask.... but possibly his mom.

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 3:09:35 PM): Where does he hide the bodies?

Reese (4/24/2015 3:10:15 PM): He had none to hide. Nor will I need to think of an answer for that kind of question. Sorry.

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 3:11:31 PM): *rolls eyes* How about dose of hypothesis on that case?

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 3:15:29 PM): Or are you saying that you don't know your character that well after all in that aspect?

Reese (4/24/2015 3:16:34 PM): There's nothing to know or need to know for that question because it's something that's never ever going to happen.

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 3:16:52 PM): Not even in video game?

Reese (4/24/2015 3:17:44 PM): Him being a video game character? Doubt it. Him playing a video game involving that? I doubt that too.

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 3:19:14 PM): Tch, Nii-sama would have given at least hypothesis if such were case with Ryo... be narrow-minded then and moving on.

What are his beliefs?

Reese (4/24/2015 3:24:50 PM): Probably believes in God like his parents.

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 3:25:21 PM): And what exactly is his religion?

Reese (4/24/2015 3:26:14 PM): Possibly Christian in that case.

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 3:26:33 PM): Drink of choise?

Reese (4/24/2015 3:27:19 PM): Root beer or tea. Really.

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 3:28:02 PM): How does he take his tea?

Reese (4/24/2015 3:29:09 PM): iced, sweet

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 3:29:53 PM): What is the color of his third cousin's aunt's brother's niece's husband's hair?

Reese (4/24/2015 3:30:35 PM): I haven't a clue.

Reese (4/24/2015 3:30:49 PM): Probably don't have all the family that far developed yet.

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 3:31:12 PM): Name his favorite story as a child.

Reese (4/24/2015 3:32:48 PM): Good question, I need to come up with this one, figure what story sounds the best. So just hold off on this one for now and we'll come back to it.

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 3:33:24 PM): If he were a tree, what kind of tree he would be?

Reese (4/24/2015 3:34:59 PM): The heck do you come up with these things from? (Or why for that matter?)

But if I must pick a tree, maybe spruce.

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 3:36:41 PM): I told you that I have 11 pages of questions that I can ask on a whim?

Are there any songs or nursery rhymes from his childhood that make him all nostalgic?

Reese (4/24/2015 3:38:32 PM): Yeah but that still doesn't explain why, are you just trying to test me or are you just having fun asking me questions?

Like with the story, I need to truly come up with a good choice, so let's save this one for later too

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 3:40:35 PM): *leans a little closer* ....does it matter when it's your character that possibly gets new possibilities opened by the questions? A little wider perspective? Something to think?

Reese (4/24/2015 3:41:44 PM): I'm just curious at your reasoning on it is all. Though I hope you don't plan to ask all 11 pages worth in one day. ^^;

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 3:43:44 PM): Pft, as if I would. I've gone through one page with Nii-sama.

Reese (4/24/2015 3:44:27 PM): But yes, you brought up two things so far that would be good to think on

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 3:45:30 PM): What's the furthest he has traveled from his birthplace?

Reese (4/24/2015 3:47:47 PM): Maybe to another state to see his dad's parents.

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 3:48:26 PM): How old is "too old"? (to him)

Reese (4/24/2015 3:49:59 PM): Not sure

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 3:51:21 PM): What is the last thing he does before he goes to sleep?

Reese (4/24/2015 3:54:02 PM): Probably playing video games or playing with legos

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 3:54:56 PM): okay, last one because my eyelids start to get heavy.
What advice his mother gave him has he obviously never followed?

Reese (4/24/2015 3:57:31 PM): Possibly things related to home work. Since he dislikes homework

Reese (4/24/2015 4:02:07 PM):
Now, as for this...

"Moonlightelf: Tch, Nii-sama would have given at least hypothesis if such were case with Ryo... be narrow-minded then and moving on."

I'm far from being narrow-minded here. Some people can't deal with even one thought of violence, let alone murder. And if something doesn't apply to a charadcter, it doesn't apply period. Such as this case.

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 4:03:19 PM): So he wouldn't even go and defend himself?

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 4:04:45 PM): oops, combo of 82 in game

Reese (4/24/2015 4:05:24 PM): With out killing someone probably.

Question like that one, you almost may as well ask who he would sexually assault... that's as bad as murder is for crying out loud. Thus why I refuse to answer.

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 4:06:16 PM): *shrugs* Whatever.

Reese (4/24/2015 4:07:33 PM): Besides, killing in self defense isn't murder nor does it require hiding any bodies. So that question was completely irrelevant to begin with.

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 4:10:10 PM): it's still justifiable homicide.

Reese (4/24/2015 4:11:07 PM): How's that possible? Murder's defined as unjustifiable.

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 4:13:49 PM): it stands on the dividing line between an excuse, justification and an exculpation in criminal law. Homicide is justified when it prevents greater harm to innocents... and can only be justified if there is sufficient evidence to prove that it was reaonable to believe that offending party posed and imminent threat to the life or well-being of another.

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 4:14:36 PM): One must, however, objectively prove toa trier of fact, beyond all reasonable doubt, that the suspect intended to commit violence.

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 4:15:04 PM): to a*

Reese (4/24/2015 4:17:41 PM): Still, we've drifted from the prime definition of murder compared to self-defense. Which are different.

Justifiable homocide is like shooting someone because they are raping your spouce.

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 4:18:12 PM): Though it can be flipped as murder if there isn't enough evidence to point it out.

Reese (4/24/2015 4:19:04 PM): But the original point is, and still stands, is Reese doesn't murder. Period.

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 4:20:40 PM): Well... it's good to see that your mind doesn't allow such hypothesis to even exist. *chuckles* Then... if not narrow-minded... let me correct it then. Close-minded.

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 4:21:53 PM): Though sad to know that your character is unprepared.

Reese (4/24/2015 4:22:47 PM): Well, you're free to think so, anyway.

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 4:23:32 PM): Poor day when he accidentally kills someone due to some degree of carelessness though... mental health and all, you know?

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 4:28:59 PM): And having mind that refuses to even think such possibility or scenario... it's truly sad, you know? I do ponder how he'll be able to even live with it or even process the entire thing. Because the Kübler-Ros model is somewhat fashinating at times to think through for characters.
But yeah, I'm free to think. And wonder... and be left open with the questions that you refuse to think answer to. *smiles*

Reese (4/24/2015 4:33:00 PM): Well gee, I could have aliens abduct him and make him into some monster or make him pregnant and he might not know how to live with it... or he could live with it.

Or how about the loss of both his parents? How would anyone be able to live with that and process it?

And what are the chances of him accidentally killing anyone? Slim to none. And that's still not closed minded.

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 4:37:14 PM): Then start thinking. *smiles* Besides... even if it is slim chance... accidents happen. Like last year in here, it needed only one shopping trip and the parents vitnessed their own house burning... with daughter in wheelchair upstairs inside the house.
And one summer... at one concert event, a girl who had just turned 18 got run over by firetruck that was moving slowly through crowd... really slowly.
Slim to none, indeed.

Reese (4/24/2015 4:44:20 PM):
Well, then I guess he could accidentally get abducted by a kidnapper, aliens, pack of underground moll men too, couldn't he?

If I'm close minded, I suppose you are too? Because I recall a few things you mentioned you claim are impossible. If I need to be so open minded, then why not let him hit it off with Kat accidentally and get stuck with a kid, or him get abducted and get stuck with a kid, or call his mom a whale accidentally and get kicked out of the house, or him piss off a villain accidentally and get 3rd degree burns instead of him accidentally murdering someone.

You know, he's just a teenager, he doesn't have to be prepared for anything. If something happens, it happens like in realife. Ain't no damn-body is prepared for what can happen all of a sudden. You don't plan

Reese (4/24/2015 4:44:24 PM): this crap out.

Reese (4/24/2015 4:44:29 PM): Only true murderers plan crap out.

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 4:45:37 PM): Hmm... you have ADHD, don't you?

Reese (4/24/2015 4:46:51 PM): Alright, that's just completely irrelevant to anything. We are done here for the night.

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 4:49:31 PM): Just asking since you went pretty snappy, really defensive and write a ton of text while exagrating things to irrelevant things yourself.

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 4:49:52 PM): Just like my RL ADHD friend.

Moonlightelf is typing...

Moonlightelf (4/24/2015 4:52:25 PM): Besides... true character owners have their OC's reactions ready to be slapped on table anytime when appropriate situation rises... even death. *lifts hat* Have a good evening with some food of thought <3
Edit - I decided to make this into a code form to save space on this page.

Why do you even talk to those self-righteous, pedantic pricks? You're much better than that.

Honestly I hardly talk to Moonlightelf. She's come to me via DA note wanting to role play with me since she found a colored drawing of Reese that Zelda kindly colored for me.

Ryo's got nothing on the kind of prick Moonlightelf is. God she's bad. :tssk:

You mentioned Moon once before, and she still sounds like your typical jelly fuck with a severe case of social and scientific retardation, but a web-certified degree in bad fanfiction that no one will read.

How old is she? Her age in years should determine the amount of clubs over the head you should give her. I hope she's somewhere between one and eleven (that would be my guess), as I do not condone violence.
