What is your favorite software? (opensource or bought)
I was just searching for 'great software everyone should have' in google, and found a few nice ones. Such as, Fences. It fences my icons organizing my desktop a little more, it was really interesting. Another nice one was evernote, where I could just click whatever I feel is important to remember and it'd keep it there and I could access it from anywhere.
Other ones I downloaded I'm sure you might have or have another similar to it. Like, Mozilla Thunderbird. I'm not the type of person to use email clients, but I'm always always getting tired of logging in one account, into another, and into another. I'd rather just keep one up all the time without dealing with that damn log in thingy. xD Also it really looks sleak and sexy.
Other things should be no brainers. Like Gimp. Free Photoshop alternative, etc. Love it.
I also got this calendar thingy.
Feel free to suggest any software you might have tripped up upon, either bought or downloaded for free. Or just discuss how you love the program you got! : D I would love to hear about it!

3ds Max I would never survive without, as well as programs like Audacity or Wavepad Sound Editor.

My favourite program? Hey, this is hard. I suppose it would be Windows 95. I freaking love Windows 95 even though I hadn't chance to boot it up for years.

It's hard to choose just one. Hmmm, I can tell that I love to draw digitally with Easy PaintTool SAI. The linearts from the pen are excelent in there.
I also like IncrediMail for the e-mail.

Remember that screensaver that had ants eating your screen? I always used to freak my mom out with that back when I was three or so.stan423321 wrote:My favourite program? Hey, this is hard. Oh, I remember it. Though we almost always used one of 10 third-party screensavers with fish, which we got with a magazine about aquariums.

Not sure about what my favorite software is, but I use Foobar2000 for playing all of my music and sound files, so I'd be in a bit of a situation without it, as I prefer it over Winamp.
Format Factory is one of my favorites too, it converts to and from a large variety of different formats. I usually use it to convert a video file to a WAV, or to convert a file to an MP3 to give to someone.
TeamViewer has saved me quite a bit of time in the past before, it lets you connect to somebody's computer over the internet, so rather than having them explain whatever problem they're having on their computer, I can just connect to them and see what's going on for myself, or vice versa. It's also fun for doing team edits in Photoshop. Speaking of which...
Photoshop is pretty obvious choice for me, I use it for basically everything image-related I make. GIMP is good too, but I have a lot less experience with it.

Perhaps DarkTube is something for you? It is a newly designed version of YouTube. It is however not compatible with the upcoming version of YouTube. Besides that I also have ScrewAds which blocks advertisements and Awesome Screenshot: Capture & Annotate.
For my computer I use Vista which I am quite fond of.
Fences sounds really cool. I'm getting it.

This looks like an interesting topic.
I think if I had to give one answer, it would be Vim.

I’m thinking of downloading a VPN for my computer sometime. I wonder how that will work for my computer but it’ll definitely be a benefit since it’s the shitty Win10 one!

I like OBS because it's open source and can do so much
I used to mess around with Babya Logic before for making tracks I'd use if I was to make games and Audacity is a pretty decent freeware audio editing program.
Oh and Game Maker is another I liked using a lot
