My mom was a gamer and I was immediately exposed to Rayman from birth.
I enjoyed the bright colours and music etc. and while cartoons were on early in the morning for my big sis before school,
Rayman and Crash were on as soon as she left.
Then over the years we just kept on buying the new titles and staying up all night trying to finish them.
Apparently I even had Rayman as an imaginary friend growing up,
which when she told me I thought was a bit embarrassing but now I'm like "HECK YEAH" Best childhood ever right!?

Now i'm a Music producer and Engineer in Scotland and all throughout my career i've owed it to Rayman and to my mom for bringing me up on such amazing soundtracks. Those games started my love for music and when Rémi was announced to have passed it hit me harder than I could have ever expected.
Thanks Mum, Thanks Rémi. Rest in Peace
