edit: yeah, its a pretty dumb idea
...maybe we could show them that we want a Rayman 4? Especially with the revive of 3D platformers that's been going on lately.
Hell, maybe they would be desperate enough to Sonic Mania style- help Adsolution finishing R:ROTD?
I know that all of this is very unlikely and maybe even insane, but... they were desperate enough to revive BG&E2.
Now, that Ubisoft is so desperate to do ANYTHING to not be bought by Vivendi...

Normally I tend to keep my gob shut, but for gods sake this is getting obnoxious.
Yes, we want a new 3D game.
Yes, they know, they've played coy about it in the past on the Rayman facebook.
No, you're not some great expert who can solidly claim that a new 3D Rayman will sell by the buckets.
Folks seem to forget that Ubi is a massive company with a LOT of different franchises. Even if the likes of Assassins Creed, Far Cry, Just Dance or the Rabbids don't appeal to us, doesn't mean they're unsuccessful. Heck, the fact that up until recently, all of those franchises got yearly releases should speak volumes about how much Ubi was getting from them. Ultimately, we're Rayman fans, he's dear to our hearts, and we're naturally going to be biased towards Rayman because of it.
Have some perspective, 3D platformers could be making a comeback, yes. But there's no guarantee.

Pretty much what Master said. And we are also talking about professionals, not amateurs.

After all just because there is a Rayman game called Rayman 4 isn't 100% Guaranteed to be good.
Edit: or maybe ubisoft is trying to be not bought by Vivendi in the unlikely event when Activision buys vivendi after they buy ubisoft so they can turn all of ubisoft's IP's into skylanders toys for a new skylandrers game and put them into toy-figure limbo-land. sounds crazy on paper, but makes sense when thinking about it.
