Welcome to Riddles of the Glade!

Riddles of the Glade is a Rayman contest where competitors compete to win the most points by answering riddles about the Rayman series!

How does the game work?

The game consists of one member giving the competitors a riddle, along with clues that refer to a character/object/place from the Rayman series that competitors try to guess the right answer. The first competitor to answer correctly will take over and give out a new riddle and clue. The round will continue until a season for The Teensies Quiz Quest begins, at which point the round will end and rewards will be given out.

How many clues for a riddle can be given?

A maximum of 7 clues can be given for each riddle, after which, if no one has given a correct answer, the current riddle must be scrapped and the cluegiver must give a new one. You can only give out 1 clue at a time though, with a limit of 3 clues per day for each riddle.

Can I skip an offer to give a riddle?

Yes, you can skip an offer to give a riddle, and an available staff member will give out the riddle instead. However, you will not be able to answer for this riddle and must wait until someone else guesses correctly and gives a new one.

What are the rules for the contest?

Like every other contest in Pirate-Community, there are rules that have to be followed, which are listed below:
  • When you become the cluegiver, make sure to include what number riddle the game is on each time while giving your clues: This is a general format of how the first clue of a riddle should look, with each additional clue added below them after enough time has passed and competitors have made their guesses:

    Code: Select all

    Riddle #4
    Clue 1:

  • If you're the cluegiver, you must give at least 1 clue within 3 days of the previous one. Failure to do so will result in the riddle becoming lost and an available staff member will take over and give a new riddle. A warning will be given the first time, while subsequent times with the same cluegiver will also force them to skip the new riddle.
  • When someone makes a guess, the cluegiver must respond to the guess within 48 hours, otherwise the riddle will be lost and the most recent person to guess can give a new riddle. A warning will be given the first time, while subsequent times with the same cluegiver will also give a point to the person, and the cluegiver will have to skip the new riddle.
  • If you answer incorrectly for a riddle, you must wait until either the next riddle is given, or the next clue for the current riddle if the correct answer has not been given yet.
  • When you are giving a riddle/clue, make sure it's both descriptive and easy to understand.
  • Please don't cheat by deliberately looking up the answer on RayWiki or any similar sources, as that will take the fun out of the game for those who may already know the answer.
Failure to follow the above rules, will result in punishments.

What is the reward system for this contest?

At the end of each round, rewards will be handed out to the top three competitors who have the most points on the leaderboard. The competitor finishes in third place, they will receive 100 Tings. If the competitor finishes in second place, they will receive 150 Tings. And if the competitor finishes in first place, they will receive 250 Tings and will start off the next round after the break.

What happens if there is a tie?

In the event of a tie between 2 or more competitors for any placement, a tiebreaker can be given. At least 2 competitors (or both, if there are only 2) must agree to this condition within a week for the tiebreaker to take place, at which point a sudden death round will be given using the same format as above until a competitor scores 3 points. Anyone can volunteer to host as long as they are not competing in the tiebreaker, otherwise an available staff member will host by default. Any competitor that fails to turn up within 5 days will forfeit the round. At the end of the tiebreaker, bonus prizes will be given. Competitors who choose not to participate or fail to turn up for the tiebreaker will receive no bonus. Any participating competitor will receive an extra 20% to their Ting prize, while the winner will receive an extra 40%. If the tiebreaker occurred for first place, the winner will also start the next round after the break, while if a tie for first palce occurred but no tiebreaker was run or if no one shows up to the tiebreaker, a random number generator will determine who starts the next round amongst the ties.

RibShark got the one I was looking for! The Dreamcast version is not known as a remake of Rayman 2, just a different version. The iOS and 3DS versions are also debatable.

Now RibShark, you can now ask a new clue of your own.

Clue #2: This level contains the only Teensie in Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc that, when freed, will give different items based on the previous actions of the player during the level.
