Mmmm....that's the name of the doorway leading to the level to free her. Speaking of your answer, though...

Clue 9: After you finish this Rayman Legends level, you'll rescue a princess.
Clue 9a: This level has a time limit of 120 seconds.
Clue 9b: The princess you will rescue after this level is Ursula.

I was actually just about to do the scores when you posted that. :ouin: Then I couldn't think of a tiebreaker riddle, so here we are.

Clue TB#1 (fao Steo and the Jonster): This object has been seen running around in level backgrounds.

That's wrong, but since you're the only one who answered within 48 hours you win by default! :fou: Congratulations Jonster on winning round 17 of ROTG! :teuf:

Yeah that's fair tbh, it's my own fault for not knowing the answer and being busy.

Well done Jonster.

EDIT: I have one question though, aside from being busy, I had assumed Jonster's answer was correct and was actually waiting for the next clue.
In the event of a tiebreaker, there will be a best of 3 round. The competitor to answer 2 out of 3 correctly will win the round. If one competitor fails to turn up within 48 hours, they automatically forfeit the round. If both fail to turn up, the winner is decided using a random number generator.
So if a person thinks someone else is right, they still have to just post something random so they don't automatically lose? We were both robbed anyway, it should've been you and I in the tie-breaker only for that Lum fiasco. :P

I think for tiebreakers, it should be if the other person doesn't respond within 48 hours after a confirmed wrong answer was submitted to make it fair, or 24 if 48 is too long. Maybe 48 hours for both contestants and use the number generator if nobody replies, then if one replies, give 24 hours for the one that hasn't replied after the host confirms a wrong answer. Seem fair? I just think it's a little bit more reasonable than the current rule, considering a riddle can have multiple possible answers and you can't know if the other person is right or not until the host replies.

Is that what happened? In that case Plum, can we do the tiebreaker over then? I don't care if I win or lose, but I just want to play this tiebreaker fairly and I feel like Steo was unfairly disqualified bc he was waiting for your response to my answer.

I'd honestly rather not have the notion of being a fraudulent winner on my chest now after people finally have stopped seeing me as a cheater, so please? :hap:

I 100% agree with the rule where the cluegiver has to respond within 48 hours, but the tiebreaker one is really unfair and should adapt to what I suggested or just be abolished altogether.

Let's look at this from a logical standpoint, supposing Jonster's answer was correct, but you replied after 48 hours from the time you asked the riddle (which you did), does that mean I still lose for not replying? That's exactly why the rule is unfair! I had expected his answer to be correct, but then lost just because it wasn't and you had waited over 48 hours to reply.

Jonster and I both agree that replaying the tiebreaker is fair. :hap:

Tiebreakers have the same rule where I can't reanswer unless another clue or hint is given right? Or I guess I at least wait until Jonster answers again first.

Let's see if he's anything to say, yes.

P.S. I apologize for the rule. I wrote it when I was browned off at how Round 15 had turned out. I've rewritten it now: the period is now a week instead of 48 hours, to guarantee inclusion of a weeken. Plus, the definition of "turn up" has been changed: now the tiebreaker host needs to announce that it's happening and wait for both competitors to agree, before giving clues.
I'm sorry about the old rule.

I agree that round 15 was a bit ridiculous, I also think that new rule is much more reasonable. With the other one in place, a tiebreaker could have just happened while someone was away for 2 days knowing nothing about it. I guess I apologise for all those 48 hour jokes too, which may have seemed a little childish, I was honestly a bit gutted to have lost over something extremely unfair which had so many flaws. Not that I'm being a sore loser or anything, I know ROTG is just a fun contest, but I just really don't like things that aren't fair, especially contests. I'll congratulate the opponent if they win fair and square. :)

I suppose if you had told Jonster his answer was wrong withing the 48 hour period then I would have submitted an answer in time, but I guess it's better than things panned out this way so we could see the rules flaws and think about it logically. :P

Thanks for addressing the rule and replaying the tiebreaker, I also apologise if I annoyed you with those silly jokes. :fou:
