Riddles of the Glade - Round 24
Posted: Fri Aug 11, 2017 2:42 pm

Welcome to Riddles of the Glade!
Riddles of the Glade is a Rayman contest where competitors try to find out the answer to a clue that references a character/object/place from the Rayman series.
How does it work?
The game begins with a member giving the competitors a clue that references to a character/object/place from the Rayman series. The first competitor to answer correctly will take over and give a new clue.
Can I skip an offer to give a clue?
Yes you can skip an offer to give a clue. If that happens, an available staff member will take over for that clue.
How many clues will be given?
There is no set number of clues, but there is a limit of 5 clues per day. The round will continue until a season for The Teensies Quiz begins. That's when the round will end and rewards are handed out.
What happens if there is a tie?
In the event of a tiebreaker, there will be a best of 3 round. The competitor to answer 2 out of 3 correctly will win the round. The host of the tiebreaker round should first announce the intention to hold it. The competitors then need to express their agreement to this within one week. Following this, the tiebreaker clues may be given. If one competitor fails to turn up within a week, they automatically forfeit the round. If both fail to turn up, the winner is decided using a random number generator.
What are the rules for this contest?
Like the other contests in Pirate-Community, there are rules that must be followed. These are the rules as follows:
- When someone makes a guess, the cluegiver must respond to that guess within 48 hours, otherwise the clue will be lost. The first time this happens, the cluegiver will receive a warning and the most recent person to guess can give a new clue. Any subsequent time with the same cluegiver will also result in a point being given.
- If you answer incorrectly for a clue, you must wait until the next clue is given, or until a new hint is given for the current clue.
- If you skip an offer to give a new clue, you are not allowed to answer until the next clue.
- When you are giving a clue/hint, make sure you are descriptive as possible.
- Please don't cheat by looking up the answer on RayWiki or any similar sources, as that will take the fun out of the game.
Failure to follow the above rules, will result in punishments.
What is the reward system for this contest?
At the end of each round, rewards will be handed out to the top three competitors who have the most points on the leaderboard. If the competitor finishes in third place, they will receive 100 Tings. If the competitor finishes in second place, they will receive 150 Tings. And if the competitor finishes in first place, they will receive 250 Tings and will start off the next round after the break.
