Looks interesting, though it looks a bit like Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed.

Very late to comment on this topic, at first I wasn't sure on what to think since this game just seemed like S&ASR without non-Sonic Sega characters, it also didn't help that I'm still bitter about Sonic Forces, but I've now seen it in action and watched a couple of interviews and it actually seems pretty interesting, it's a sort of team based racer with each of the 3 team members having a unique skill to carry each other, which makes the game less about trying to get to first place and more about using teamwork to do that.

Wouldn't say I'm excited for this game yet but it does seem to have potential, the whole team dynamic is something I don't remember seeing in any other racing game and I am interested to see which Sonic characters they'll add that were not featured in any of the other S&ASR games, not to mention that this time we also have developers who have proven themselves in the past and a soundtrack created by Crush 40.

Post by JacobLeBeauREAL »

Ayy I forgot about this place! This is a racing game staring only Sonic characters....15 of them. It comes out winter, and will be avaliable on switch, ps4, xbox, and steam(?).

What do you guys think about Sonic the Hedgehog live-action movie? Is it better than Super Mario Bros. live-action movie from the early 90's? Do you reckon frankly that could it be better live-action movie if Sega would be still making hardware like Nintendo is still doing it instead of software? I will miss the days when they were doing home and handheld console business, that Yuji Naka,Masato Nakamura(however I'm not sure in 100%),Hideki Naganuma,Tom Kalinske left Sega and Sonic Team for good. That's sad that Sonic 3(remastered-another re-release)Remastered petition was closed. However we have Sonic Mania/Plus instead. Anyway how Sonic Adventure 3 should look like? Should it based on Sonic X season 3(currenly it's 12 years old) anime?

I don't have a definite opinion on it yet until I see it, but I definitely like the design compared to what it was originally supposed to be.

Not the biggest fan of the Sonic franchise, however I've played a little bit of Sonic Heroes in the past and I used to watch the Sonic X anime. I don't have high expectations for this film, Sonic's design was improved and Jim Carrey is in it, so at the very least it should be enjoyable or so bad that it is good.

Btw, is the Sonic X anime getting a new season? https://www.kids-station.com/program/fastinfo

I honestly loved the older Sonic games as a kid. I used to play Sonic The Hedgehog 2 on Sega Mega Drive a lot, and then I remember playing Sonic Heroes a lot too when it came out. Heroes is a lot of fun imo, and the old ones are still fun to play, even though I never remember the level layouts and he just runs really fast.

I also played a lot of Shadow the Hedgehog, the game was not what I expected but I ended up loving the soundtrack. Unfortunately I didn't have the chance to play any of the old Sonic games.

Ah I see. I also have Shadow, but I haven't played through it yet. I still plan to try it, but I love the music on the main menu.

If you can't play the game, I would recommend to at least listen to the soundtrack since it is on YouTube. The main theme is pretty good IMO:

Ah Crush 40. They even have a song in that Sonic 06 game everyone hates that I think sounds good. Crush 40 - His World.

I do have the game also, I own it on GameCube and PS2, just have to get around to playing it.

06 was an awful game but the OST was top tier.

My favorite tracks are wave ocean and aquatic base, his world Is a good theme song too.

That I can agree with. Everyone says the game was awful, but I love some of the songs from it.

Sonic 06 also was great let's play material, since it was so funny to watch people experience the game and watch their reactions. The same can be said about other Sonic games.

Even if some of the newer games are bad, the Sonic games have a great soundtrack, ngl. :)

One of these days I should start from the beginning once more, for a nostalgia trip. Some Sonic games I haven't played in ages (like the GBA games, for one)

Do you think Sonic cannon is so messed up and very chaotic? Speaking of cancelled Sonic games and old video game consoles from the 90's that were rejected?
