I'm going to ask anyone who has ANY suspicions of who might be a demon to speak up. The sooner we kill them, the less chance they have to kill us. But unfortunately, for now, there are none.

Day 1 - No lynch.

Hopefully our detective is at work and can start building our team of counter-mafia, we're not going to have a period of grace for much longer. As it stands, much as I'd like to have an early victory, it's too risky. As such...

Yes there doesn't seem to be any wizard that raises suspicion yet.

Day 1 - No Lynch.

To clear up my position quickly and to get organized, here is my role message:
You are Gandalf.

You are the white wizard from the Moria.

Your role is to protet a player every night. Send me a PM entitled "Night X - Protect [USER]" and unless something comes in your way they will be safe.

You are a wizard. It is your job to identify the demons and work with your fellow wizards to wipe them out with your daily vote to lynch somebody, and by using any powers you may have.
If all of the demons die, the wizards will win.
Anyways,

Day 1 - No lynch

I don't think it's time to start killing each other yet, as we don't know much about the other team.

Nah, nothing at this point strikes me with suspicion.

Suspicions seem low, but the atmosphere has changed to one of tentative murmuring and hidden speculation. What surreptitious schemes have been brewing in private thoughts? Who can tell.

Night 1 begins!

You may use any night actions, including the ones causing death. If you do not wish to use your night action, or even if you do not have one, it is required that you send me a PM entitled "Night 1 - Idling".

The deadline is the 14th, midnight (24:00 UTC).

PS: Sorry for the late post everyone. This is the final round to last more than 24 hours, so from Day 2 onwards you must make sure to vote and PM me in time.
If anyone's still confused about the deadline, from now on it will be the very end of the day; so in this case the deadline is midnight at the end of the 14th.

The night has finally passed, and a sleepless night it was; the rustling of leaves and the sound of soft footsteps persisted until the darkest of hours. Even the dreams of those who passed into slumber were plagued with visions of death.

The morning was announced with two tolls of the bell tower, for it was found in the early hours of daylight that two of the Wizards' kind had been killed.

One of them was Goldfish:
You are Merlin, Commander of the Wizards.

You have gathered the League of Wizards to fight against the demon invaders.

As the leader of the Wizards you do not have any special powers, however, your vote counts twice during the day.

You are a wizard. It is your job to identify the demons and work with your fellow wizards to wipe them out with your daily vote to lynch somebody, and by using any powers you may have.
If all of the demons die, the wizards will win.
The other was Bartholomew:
You are the Cunning Wizard, Saruman.

Having ownership of a mystical crystal ball called a Palantir, you can see the truth behind any guise.

At night, you may use your skills to inspect another player. To do this, send me a PM entitled “Night X - Inspect [USER]”. Unless something comes in your way you will receive that user’s role PM by the morning.

You are a wizard. It is your job to identify the demons and work with your fellow wizards to wipe them out with your daily vote to lynch somebody, and by using any powers you may have.
If all of the demons die, the wizards will win.
Do errors a clue make?

Day 2 begins!

You may now either vote to lynch someone, or to lynch nobody at all.

The deadline is the end of the 15th, midnight (24:00 UTC).

Showing no role PM is better than showing a fake one. Mistakes were made last night, no doubt about that. Hopefully, we can rectify them today. I have suspicions about a couple of people. I would also like to ask the protector to come forward, either in this thread or in a PM, so I can investigate what happened last night and try to work out who not to trust.
Do errors a clue make?
This sounds out of place, like something a messenger would place. I would certainly agree with the statement.

I too am compelled to wonder as to what exactly Goldfish was thinking when putting in a fake role PM. Perhaps he intended to be some sort of sacrificial lamb, and use his death to allow for an investigation. Either ways, all it seems he ended up doing was causing confusion for all, and for nought.

I think we do need to lynch, we've been hit with a double-whammy, and not lynching at this point could very well lead to our numbers dwindling in spades. I am going to think this through however, as we've got time to mull this over.

I have to agree, without explanation this lynching will always look suspicious. Please explain yourself.
Pineapple wrote:Showing no role PM is better than showing a fake one.
I have to disagree. He certainly brought the ire of the real sorcerer on himself. What else did he have in mind?

In any case, I still don't have any suspicion on anybody, so I will let the day unfold. I agree that a lynching must be done today.

I would very much like to know your reasoning behind this. Obviously, I'm a bit biased, but I don't understand what evidence you have to attack me.

I agree as well.

I also have huge suspicions about Pineapple.

Last night, Bartholomew contacted Pineapple, Hallelujah and myself to form a group. Bartholomew revealed his important role to him, and at the end of the night he was found dead.

Now Pineapple is asking me to send him my role PM because it "would be of much help".

So Day 2 - Lynch Pineapple

I'm going to come clean. I killed last night. But it was not Bartholomew, but Goldfish who I killed, and that was an error. My role PM is:
You are the Sorcerer of Death, the Grim Reaper.

You have the power to bring any being to the underworld with your black magic.

At night, you may kill another player. To do this, send me a PM entitled "Night X - Kill [USER]" and, unless something interrupts you, your target will be dead by the sunrise.

You are a wizard. It is your job to identify the demons and work with your fellow wizards to wipe them out with your daily vote to lynch somebody, and by using any powers you may have.
If all of the demons die, the wizards will win.
I killed Goldfish because another user (of whose identity I am uncertain), who claimed to be the true Gandalf contacted Ping Pong, and Ping Pong forwarded the message onto me. As Ping Pong forwarded this message, I wanted to corroborate with the actual user that the message had not been edited, just in case. That is why I asked who the protector might be, and why I sent a PM to Sierra. I am trying to figure out if anyone has misled me, and also who out of Sierra and Hallelujah betrayed Bartholomew.

Ahem, are you aware that your role PM looks just like a baddie PM to which the "You are a wizard" part would have been added?
"Sorcerer of Death, the Grim Reaper" doesn't really sounds like a nice wizard name.
Pineapple wrote:I am trying to figure out if anyone has misled me, and also who out of Sierra and Hallelujah betrayed Bartholomew.
Is that a joke? Bartholomew and I were in touch since the beginning of the game, and aware of each other's role. He even told you so in the first PM he sent, don't try to hide information:
Bartholomew wrote:Sierra can already confirm my identity since their role is tied

My role PM is legit, I know it looks like a demon PM but there's not much I can do about that. If Bartholomew died and he was only in contact with me, you and Hallelujah, it stands to reason that one of you two (or me of course) was responsible. I wasn't withholding information deliberately, and honestly Hallelujah was my main suspect, but I don't have any solid evidence against him.

In fact, Hallelujah stayed strangely silent throughout last night, or at least, I received no contact from him. Unless something changes, I'm going to say:
Day 2 - Lynch Hallelujah

I don't exactly like how Hallelujah is suddenly brought into this conversation, but I'm still waiting on Lakitu's explanation before I decide anything.
