And pulling it back would make the character pause? Forwards for running?

I got 67wpm without mistakes, quite a bit slower than the 81wpm I mentioned on the first page of this topic 3 years ago. Maybe I'll look for some other topics with online tests that we've had here, it's interesting to see the changes over the years.

Think you could do faster on a second try after a warmup session? I've had to do that once before in the past.

Just tried a couple more times, 73 and 70 wpm. I think it depends more on the text than anything else for me. Very familiar words just come out automatically, while in others I often make typos in and have to correct myself.

That's basically how it was with me on the last test I've done. I found myself to have become slower at parts and corrected some typos. I just prefer typing from my mind rather than what I see. :)

Granted, I don't really type at full speed all the time. Though ultra handy to type fast for Record Day.

Last Record Day I discovered my hands have an overdrive setting I can activate that make them write at at least 200% capacity.

Hmm, I don't know but sometimes overdrive mode seems to take time to get into.

Yeah I was only able to get into it the last hour of Record Day. And when I saw the results, I realised how close I was to making it to the top three - I think I was 12 posts off - and I felt foolish for not holding on a little longer and pushing for those few more posts at the end, haha.

I used to be faster than I am now, I think. I really don't want to take the test, my score will be embarrassing.

I think my typing speed is falling, I don't seem to type as effectively as I remember. Fingers don't feel as strong as they once did.

Master, may I be the first to remind you that you're eighteen, not 58? Your fingers are probably either the same or stronger than they were before. We all have our bouts of feeling weak here and there.

It's really influenced by warmup and the quality ofteh text.

I wen from 47 WPM/ 7 mistakes to 57 WPM / 3 mistakes in only one try. The first text had some ' and ", maknig me choke a lot as I tried to go too fast and had to go after some mistakes here and there. That's not bad, but in my prime I can go even faster. Now I'm even on an americna keyboard.

Way better than the 41s reached a few years ago. Betch.

lol

Yess, 109 was the highest of my three tries just now, the others being 91 due to tripping over myself and 99 for whatever other reason.
