RayWeb (suggestion)
May be an extension called RayWeb should be added?
RayWeb is like WaybackMachine, but includes ALL official webpages of Rayman by Ubisoft.
WaybackMachine is unfortunately not complete.

Re: RayWeb (suggestion)
Well, I'm afraid that whatever isn't on the Wayback Machine is permanently lost by now, so I'm not sure what could be done.
Re: RayWeb (suggestion)
Yeah I know, but I thought to store everything releated to Rayman starting from now. Ubisoft is still releasing stuff related to Rayman, although infrequently.Hunchman801 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 06, 2019 3:28 pm Well, I'm afraid that whatever isn't on the Wayback Machine is permanently lost by now, so I'm not sure what could be done.

Re: RayWeb (suggestion)
If you are afraid of something being lost, my suggestion is to keep creating backups of Rayman related pages in the Wayback Machine, besides I think a new feature was added recently that allows you to save a screenshot of a page, which means you can preserve the exact appearance of a given site (I might be wrong though).

Re: RayWeb (suggestion)
Yep, for most pages the Wayback Machine should be just fine, though some content doesn't render well. I while ago I started archiving the Daily Bubbles (here's an example), but it's a lot of work to make sure the music and animations still work. It would be great if someone had enough time and determination to archive them all.

I don´t understand what could go wrong. Don´t you just save the files on your hard-drive and that´s it?Hunchman801 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 07, 2019 3:18 pm I while ago I started archiving the Daily Bubbles (here's an example), but it's a lot of work to make sure the music and animations still work. Ah yes, back when Voodoo Mamma was planned to be a Glute Shubamuban member of Globox's species.

Try saving the page and you'll see!
Back when Origins was still meant to have some sort of a scenario?

Well, fortunately you can always record the web-page in video format. That is the second best thing.Hunchman801 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 07, 2019 3:38 pmTry saving the page and you'll see!

By the way, does this forum follow GDPR?

Re: RayWeb (suggestion)
Maybe not, after all.
In video format? Not sure how that would work...
Yep, we follow standard privacy and data protection laws.
Re: RayWeb (suggestion)
Use a screen-recorder and record your activity on the webpage. Like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FK4Q9cLhA2EHunchman801 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 08, 2019 5:58 pm In video format? Not sure how that would work...

Is WaybackMachine seriously the only place that stores webpages? I would have thought that Google would release something similar or at least a "premium" version.
Doesn´t GDPR demand that you should have some sort of pop-up?
Umm, even if a company would do something that breaches GDPR, how would the user know that? The company would obviously keep it hush-hush.
