ItzalDrake's Rayman Fan Art
Hello everyone!
As I like to draw and love playing Rayman videogames, well.. I draw Rayman a lot of course!
So I've created this new topic where I'll share my works, I hope you'll like them!
I'm open to critiques, I draw as a hobby and I would like to improve and learn something new if I can.
To begin here's a piece of art I just made to celebrate Rayman's 26th anniversary. Happy Birthday Rayman!
I'm very proud of it and think it's the best drawing I've ever done so far!

Thank you!
I wanted to give a 3D feel to UbiArt Rayman and I'm proud of the result

Yeah, thanks!
This is another piece I've drawn, maybe this Lum may has hit his head somewhere or drank a few sips of plum juice

Nice! I don't think Lums can hit their heads though, can they?

I thought all the Lums looked a bit out of it in the UbiArt games though! It's a beautiful drawing either way!

Thanks!
I haven't been drawing traditionally for years, the habit of drawing digitally made me act like an idiot while drawing this piece (every now and then I was searching for the Ctrl+Z keys to undo my mistakes)

I agree with PluMGMK, it reminds me of the Lums in the UbiArt games. Very nice!

It's obvious now, the UbiArt Lums were drunk the whole time!ItzalDrake wrote: ↑Sat Sep 04, 2021 1:50 pm This is another piece I've drawn, maybe this Lum may has hit his head somewhere or drank a few sips of plum juice

I recall seeing this before, pretty nice though nonetheless.

Yeah, I focused on the UbiArt version but I've tried to give a touch of the style used in Rayman 2 by adding some kind of whirl motif on the wingshoodlumsworld wrote: ↑Tue Sep 07, 2021 1:52 pm I agree with PluMGMK, it reminds me of the Lums in the UbiArt games. Very nice!
What do you think if this redesign would be used for a hypothetical Rayman 4?
I think it would fit pretty good in the game

Re: ItzalDrake's Rayman Fan Art
It would depend on the artistic direction chosen by the developers, but it's not like it's happening anytime soon anyway.ItzalDrake wrote: ↑Wed Sep 08, 2021 3:25 pm What do you think if this redesign would be used for a hypothetical Rayman 4?

Re: ItzalDrake's Rayman Fan Art
Right, I always imagine Rayman 4 as shown in the concept art of the one made by Phoenix, I always wanted a new Rayman game that had the same "magic" feeling that the first 2 mainline games have

Re: ItzalDrake's Rayman Fan Art
I couldn't agree more, what we've seen from the Phoenix prototype had that magic feeling from the first two games all while incorporating a lot of cool elements from Rayman 3. If Rayman 4 ever comes out, I hope they follow the same direction again.

Same, I hope platformer games will be a trend again and finally see a Rayman 4 in the works in future
