Rayman 2 Piano Arrangements

Post by Polokus1996 »

To all that are musicians,
I took the time to arrange the music that plays in the Hall of Doors in Rayman 2. (What it sounds like) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ITaAM_juHqc
Since I've loved the Rayman soundtracks I thought I'd give it a go to make piano arrangements, I'd be willing to do more from Rayman 2 if anybody has any requests?

Here's the sheet music: http://www.mediafire.com/?fgv0hs1yq6807n7

Good work!

May I suggest using a key signature though? The Hall of Doors theme is in C minor (three flats), and you've left it in an open signature using a mix of sharp and flat accidentals, which isn't proper and rather confusing.

Thanks for your feedback.I was actually debating whether or not I should include a key signature when I made this. I've uploaded the same file but with a C minor key signature, just for you haha http://www.mediafire.com/?dx0o85c6dx6okpd
If you or anyone else has any requests for more Rayman 2 music, fire away.

That's better! Though you got your words a bit mixed up. A Time Signature is the 4/4 (or any numbers) placed after the Key Signature, which is the given amount of sharps or flats to determine the key.

This isn't totally necessary but may make reading it easier: perhaps you could change the key signature on each line to match the given chord (C minor, A minor, G# Minor)? The Hall of Doors is strange like that, and it would probably work best this way because it removes the need for most of the accidentals; anything to reduce accidentals is good (unless it's just for one beat or something).

I also like the fact that it's laid out in 4x3 bars on the page, which makes the key transitions on each line and general flow of the music much easier to read.

Can't believe I said time signature instead of key signature :P Fixed.
Thanks a lot for your help. Here's the updated version with the key signature changes. http://www.mediafire.com/?n7jlbbp1nnxyk3e
