I've been working on a simple tool to view and modify rayman 2 scripts in realtime, and I've got a sneak preview for you:
You'll find a download link in the first video's description, although that's still an early version. I'm working on a slightly updated version and will upload it soon.
EDIT: Updated the link with a new version. Download here
Warning: this software is still in development and may mess with your savegame/Rayman 2. Use with caution!

Ah lads, that's amazing! I wonder if I can use it to mess with plums…

Awesome! It seems to work really well already! Will you eventually put the source online too?

@droolie sure, it's a mess though but I'll upload it when I get home. I hope to implement a cleaner version one day but it's hard

I'm sure you will! You're already doing a great job with this already!
I would definitely like to give this a go later when I'm doing some more experimenting on Rayman 2.

Umm… How do I use it? Do I need to find a way to run the game in windowed mode? Because I'm having trouble with that…

Yeah, unfortunately the game needs to be windowed. Try dxwnd or dgvoodoo, it's annoying to set up unfortunately.

Seems that on Windows 10 with the NVIDIA driver I need to use nGlide, which apparently scuppers attempts to run it in windowed mode?
Okay, I finally managed to find a way to get this working for me. I installed rdpwrap on my Windows 10 VM and used it to allow multiple remote sessions per user. Then I was able to launch Rayman 2 from my main session, and do an additional remote desktop login (using rdesktop btw) and launch the GUI. So far I've just made plum generators continuously spawn and drop plums.
