Custom character animations in Rayman Origins and Legends?

Post by Chilistudios »

Hi. Is it possible for a character in Rayman Origins or Legends to not only have custom graphics, but also custom animations? Since the animations are in the ipk file and all.

Unfortunately it isn't possible at the moment.. what you can do is to switch the animation files so a different animation will be played instead of the one which is meant to be used

Thanks. Do we at least know where and how the animations are stored within the .ipk?

Animation files (.anm.ckd) are located in folders which are all named animation, they are the same folders where you can find sprites.
You could also switch the animation files between different characters and objects! Each animation file contains the paths for the needed files to play the animation, no matter where you place the animation files, they will be played without problems.
Have fun! :P
