So you couldn't find any other major differences? That makes it even more curious!

Hi!
Did already someone speedrun Rayman Redemption with a TAS?
I'm curious to see it.

Re: Tool-assisted speedrunning (TAS)
Definitely not, most of the activity in Rayman Redemption speedrunning has been individual levels and there's been very few full-game runs, let alone a single TAS.

Re: Tool-assisted speedrunning (TAS)
Another aspect is that there aren't many tools for PC games with regard to TAS, probably because the differences between machines make it very hard to get something consistent. It's much easier for console games because you can play them on an emulator and the tools are integrated into it. You basically have complete control on what happens on the machine here.

Re: Tool-assisted speedrunning (TAS)
Yes, I brought it up here a while ago but it's definitely worth mentioning again! Young Got4n's TAS of Rayman Advance was already quite impressive, but those guys really pushed it to another level with this one. The extensive documentation is a big plus, too (otherwise, you'd have pretty much no idea what's going on).
