Ok, did anybody remember the release of Rayman3? I think Rayman3 made the most fun in the time of the release, especially on RZ..

Yes, you're right, people were so concerned about their scores on the HOF. And then, people gave up and went out of the game. And I don't blame them, it's too frustrating to try and beat your score, especially when it's over 600,000. :x

No matter how hard I try, I can't reach any further than 620,800 points.

That's really high! You don't need to improve that to get 650000. What is your CF score then?

Thanks!

And my CF score. Hmm, somewhere around 90,000 I think.

Well, there you can easely get over 100000, you don't need to take any clitches or hard combo's for that.. On LOTLD you can get that even easyer!

What is your DOTK score?

While you're at it, post all your scores. If your score is below 700000, it's still easy to improve (I was struggling at this point for a while too, but then I found out new ways to make combos of a higher value). From 700000 it gets tough though, and from 800000... HELL!

There are required combos to get 100,000. Without doing some of the combos in P2 you probably wouldn't get much more than 85,000.

And my DOTK score is about 85,000. Improvable, I know.

Fairy Council -> 35,000
Clearleaf Forest -> 90,000
Bog of Murk -> 55,000 (Terrible)
Land of the Livid Dead -> 100,500
The Desert of Knaaren -> 85,000
The Longest Shortcut -> 40,000
Summit Beyond the Clouds -> 60,000
Hoodlum Headquarters -> 90,000
Tower of the Leptys -> 65,000

These are not accurate, by the way.

Fairy Council: reasonable, you can get a little more than 42000 in this level
CF: okay, you can get 105000 in this level
TBOM: bad, as you admitted yourself, but I don't blame you for that score; getting the hang of all combos in this level is incredibly complicated. You can get around 100000 in this level (with the triple glitch in part 5 100800, and with the double glitch 99999 (though you'll never get that))
LOTLD: there's room for improvement in this level. You can get 105800 using the combo in the skating tunnel, but 119599 is possible with the combo in the doctor's office.
DOTK: reasonable, it can be improved to 109749 though.
TLS: good enough, you can get 41500 in this level but it's difficult to get. Improve this to 41000 and you're done. This level is too easy for words.
SBTC: not very good, you can get lots of better combos in part 1 and 2, and in part 3 you have to make as good combos as possible using the kickflips. Also, restart this part until you combo the green gem, it will be more than 6000 extra points.
HH: good, this level is pretty difficult and you're going to have a tough time improving your score here. The highest score possible is 109009.
TOTL: bad. You harshly need to improve your score in this level. The maximum score is 104499 using the Xowar chamber. In the first part you can get more than 55000 points. Tip: Get a Lockjaw right in the beginning by jumping on a ledge. :wink:

That should give all the info necessary for scoring in R3.

Thanks for the tips.

In SBTC I think I forgot to do some vital kickflips, especially off that large jump. However, I think I got a good score in the first half, so I was satisfied.

Anyway, I'm personally not going to improve my scores, too much trouble I think. But I'm pleased to hear what I COULD do. :)

Okay. Well, if you ever get the urge to improve your score, you'll know what to do. If you're going to do so, and you still can't improve your score by much, give me the score you get after each part of a level. Then I probably know which things you missed in specific parts.

Come on.... This should be in the Scores topic! You are on topic, but please don't post about scores because there already IS a topic for that! :P
