Re: Any questions on this board?
Question: How do you make a cycling signature? Take Imco's for example, every time you refresh the page it seems to change. Is there some code or particular website that can make an image cycle? I was thinking of a cool sig design, but I like this one, so I was wodering if I could make it cycle?

Re: Any questions on this board?
Thanks!
I have another question. Every night I stay up. On school days I get to sleep at around 3 to 4am, and on weekends I stay up to around 5 am, any more and I stay up all night. I have been like this ever since I was about 10 years old. I used to be tired in the morning and at school, I couldn't concentrate, I had dark marks under my eyes etc. but after the past 5 years of having this 4 hours of sleep regime none of it happens any more, not even the baggy dark eyes. When I get to sleep earlier than this I feel groggy and tired for the day, like I've overslept.
I would call it insomnia, but it isn't medical at all, it's simply the result of my staying up on my iPad/Laptop/PC/whatever I have around etc. and when these things are not available I get agitated, and walk up and down my room with the lights on not knowing what to do, unable to sleep until around 3.
It has never effected me, it's as if it's my natural sleep pattern, as there are no mental effects or hinderances caused by it.
It only recently came to my attention that sleep loss can cause physical issues too. I have never experienced anything of the like in the past third of my life getting half as much sleep as I apparently should be getting, though it does concern me a little.
So is there any real issue, or is it OK to just keep on going like this? I hope so, because getting back into an "ordinary" sleep pattern will be near impossible for me.

Re: Any questions on this board?
I've been like that for as long as I can remember, too. First, it was reading books and playing on my Game Boy Colour. Then it went to reading books, drawing, DSLite and watching TV with headphones in. Then it evolved into DSi and the previous and nowadays I'm up 'til late behind either my computer or laptop, doing whatever it is I'm doing at the time. I still get 6-9 (not a joke this time I swear) hours of sleep per night, but my schedule is just shifted.
It depends per person. I'd say that 6 is a bare minimum from personal experience and that 9 is the absolute tops you should go. I noticed that when I hit my teens, I required more sleep than before. This is normal. I'm still in my teens, at the very limit of them, so I guess I still need those 8 hours to be comfortable. 6 is fine, 5 is too little. 9 is stretching it but over 9 is definitely too many. I get more tired if I sleep more than 9.
I eased into sleeping for around 6 hours after having a very regular schedule of sleeping for only 4 like you do currently. I had those 4 hours of sleep on a regular basis around the same age as you, actually. I had frequent recharges though, days in which I'd sleep some more because I was really, really tired. I still have those if I pull two three-hour longs in a row.
Your body will tell you what your limits are. But I'd try to settle yourself into a 6-hour pattern slowly but surely. I know how tempting it is to play that one more game or read that final chapter, but try to relax your mind and empty it. Just lay down and feel the softness of your pillow, the comfort of your bed, the serenity of the darkness around you. And sleep.
(o god i'm nodding now right behind my monitor. I guess that was effective then)

Re: Any questions on this board?
Ah, I will try my best. I never seem to get recharge sleeps though, I just can't get to sleep that early, it would be like jet lag. I've tried getting to sleep early by stopping everything at 12 and not touching my devices for like 4 nights in a row, and every time I fell asleep at the same time, around 3 to 4 am, and in the time I was waiting I didn't feel sleepy or comfortable, jsut agitated. I'm always really fidgety unless I play on whatever device for a few hours, and then I feel nice and relaxed and I know when to go to sleep because I reach a certain special point where my body just says "go to sleep bitch" and I lie down my head and get a good nights sleep... for 4 hours, and then wake up at 8 and go to school at 9. It seems to work for me, but I guess it's best to get my internal clock back on track.
It's good to know you didn't suffer from anything physical though, apparently that can be a problem but I'm skeptical.

Re: Any questions on this board?
Life, like everything in the Universe, is all about proper balance. Too little sleep is bad for you. So is too much of it. The only drawbacks I've ever heard of concerning lack of sleep are mental ones, but it wouldn't surprise me if there are physical detriments too. Your body does amazing things while you sleep, repairing itself, preparing itself, enhancing itself. Don't underestimate the power of sleep (and it's comfy too)!

Ah shit, I was certain I saw that artbook on (English) ebay, but it doesn't seem to be there. Either I've confused it with the Origins one or it's gone.Bradandez wrote:Me want Legends artbook.

Chances are, the reason that's coming up is because the thread doesn't exist anymore.

Well then it's fine, I don't think it should blow up as dramatically as that, but no harm has been done.

Re: Any questions on this board?
Maybe old files from before the server move got archived into some form and deleting them messes with the code of the website. A bit silly, but nothing serious seeing as we're all still here and able to post.

Any help?Bradandez wrote:Decided to test run my new Intous tablet and draw Rayman. Personally, it's okay looking.
But compare it to this image. The Rayman in the middle looks way better.
Any help for what I can do? I really hate how my lines are coming out. They are not smooth as I want them to be.
