Re: Christmas Mafia - Night 3

Post by Bartholomew »

Guys I just don't understand you. Why the hell would you discuss about that in public with 4 fucking mafiosos who wait for us around the corner?
Why don't you want to accept that we NEED a leader?? If it's not me I don't care, just go ahead and take my place, but be quick we are at night 3 already.

But when I see that people still doesn't want to send me their role PM, even if I gave them proof that I'm not working alone, and a copypaste of my own role PM...
I just don't understand at all. And then I threaten, because by sending all of these informations about me I did my part of the contract, and if you don't want to fulfill yours then you are suspicious to me, and you've got a lot of infos about me while I know nothing about you.

All of this work within a group effect, it is usually a majority that accept to cooperate and a minority who is reluctant, and the minority got the pressure of the majority.
In the previous editions of the game here it worked like that, just check your old PMs.

But this time, y'a une couille dans le pâté...

So, last try, anyone that wants to cooperate can send his role PM to me, or to Sierra.

I agree with Bart on this. While we have talked about taking precautions it's now that we should do the opposite and take more risky moves, because at the end of the day that's the key thing we need to win; if we simply do nothing every cycle then all that's going to happen is that the acolytes are going to take us one by one while we sit around and do nothing.

In this case while we could have some leaked PMs we gain the upper hand in which we know what some of our good elves can do and put to action, which I believe to be worth the risk.

I also agree with Bart. We need to form some trust. We know Sierra isn't an acolyte, so if you are afraid send your PMs to him. We need to start doing something soon, otherwise we will all perish.

I have no problem discussing things privately, but publicly announcing this initiative wouldn't have gone amiss. The fact that one or two players were PM'ing around asking for details struck me as quite suspicious.

Anyway, I'm awaiting a response from Sierra, so hopefully we can move things forward. If not, I'm always up for a quick round of table tennis.

As Santa and his elves wake up this morning, they hope that the night was as quiet as the previous ones.

Well, the survivors do. Unfortunately, two of them are missing at the factory and their bodies found at their homes.

The first one is Ping Pong. His body barely shows any signs of violence and he seems to be have been killed instantly.

You are Santa.

You are a very busy person who handles the distribution of billions of parcels in the one single night every year.

As the leader of the good folks, you do not have any special powers, however, your vote counts twice during the day.
The other one is Lakitu. He appears to have been assassinated in an outburst of violent rage.
You are the Elf Chef.

No one, good or bad, can resist the delicious dishes you prepare every day.

At night, you may put this skill to good use by cooking something for another user. Send me a PM entitled "Night X - Cook for [USER]" and unless something comes in your way that user will be unable to do anything that night.
The death of one elf and their leader deeply saddens the community, but they decide to go on regardless. Christmas can't die!

Best gather round fast, kids! Another day of hard work approaches. Round breakfast time, elves whisper of a boy with inquiring nature. They saw him stalk the hallways at night, peeking into others' bedrooms, hoping to discover... something.

The elves now have another occasion to safely eliminate an acolyte. But will they not target one of their own? You tell us.

Day 4 begins!

You may start voting for lynches now.

The deadline is Monday 2nd, midnight (UTC).

Why though? There is really no big argument supporting your thesis. I believe it's better that we elves all unite together with honesty and trust against the acolytes. Right now, everyone who does not hide something has joined us. There can only one big reason why you don't want to join us, which rises my suspiciousness at you.

Day 4 - Lynch Diplodocus

You better explain yourself if you want that I take my vote against you back.

except that the game isn't about "let's all break the game and reveal ourselves". Especially since...
Sierra wrote:I believe it's better that we elves all unite together with honesty and trust against the acolytes.
...your plan revolve around the acolytes not lying to you. So, not only do you cheat, you are flawed in your cheating. You wanna kno my identity? Ash Hunch.

by the way, your logic of being suspicious of everyone who does not play with you would be suspicious if we didn't already know your identity.

Are you a moron or is it on purpose?

Are you aware that the main goal of the game for the villagers is to know the identity of each other? How can taking the lead be cheating?

Take a chair, sit down, and tell me everything. I can help you.

apparently english is not your first language. It's ok, i guess, but don't call me a moron because you don't understand what i say (or maybe take it out of context to make me look like the bad guy)...

I'm sorry, but Sierra is reliable. His brothers message proves that. All you are doing is making yourself look suspicious.

ok, english is not your mother tongue either, so I rephrase it just for you kids with special needs.

we know he can be trusted. but, as an hypothetical hypothesis we would not know, then his reasoning would be suspicious.

i am really starting to think you try to put what i say out of context just to piss me off.

1. English is my mother tongue.
2. I have no idea what you are talking about. You just said you know he can be trusted, why not trust him? What is all this hypothetical stuff? Why would I try and piss you off, all that is going to do is cause issues within the elf community. All we want to be able to do is trust you, and you are not making that possible.

We have had no votes yet. The deadline is in 5 hours! We need to make some decisions.
Day 4 - Vote - Lynch Aviator

Aviator, you need to give some proof of your innocence. At the moment, you seem very suspicious to me.

Let me explain some things to everybody.
Last night, we saw that not one but two people have been murdered.
One of them was the victim of the mafia. To understand why there was another one, I need to reveal my role:
You are the Crazy Penguin.

A flightless bird, you are often underestimated by those who ignore how mad you really are.

At night, you may kill another player. To do this, send me a PM entitled "Night X - Kill [USER]" and, unless something interrupts you, your target will be dead by the sunrise.
Last night, I sent to Humch: "Night 3 - Kill Aviator". Because I asked him 3 times his role PM and he never answered anything. But it seems like my action has been diverted, there is a special role to do that. Problem is that not a lot of people knew my ability, and I spoke with the inspector and it appears that all of them are elfes, except Aviator.

So we really need to get rid of Aviator. I don't care that everybody know my role because the mafia was already aware of it.

Day 4 - lynch Hamlet
I rest my case. You have still made no attempts to prove your innocence. Not only that, but you had the audacity to accuse me of being an acolyte! Do you want to get lynched? Or is it because you are an acolyte that you have no fear of getting lynched, as you know there are others to continue your work.
