Despite the school having lots of those super sunglasses and despite the fact that other classes are allowed to go out and have a look and despite it being Friday meaning we get almost an hour off at the beginning of the day to have a PSHE+C lesson about the law and despite us not doing that anyway and everyone's just talking about different types of cheese, < and the rest of the class not allowed to pop out and have a look at the eclipse, which is a shame.

Edit:
Haha, everyone rioted like madmen and we were finally allowed out :mrgreen:

Excellent! :mrgreen:
< is back from the lecture, where the eclipse wasn't even mentioned. :boon: Nothing to see here anyway, thanks to clouds it just feels like an eerie winter morning.

< lost <'s self on a cool, damp night. < gave <'s self in that misty light, and was hypnotised by a strange delight under a lilac tree. < made wine from the lilac tree, < put <'s heart in its recipe. It makes < see what < wants to see, and be what < wants to be. When < thinks more than < wants to think and does things < never should do, < drinks much more than < ought to drink, because it brings < back you.

< has managed to write a fake NFSU2 serial code screen in VB6. Try guessing the serial code!

Here’s the EXE file:
Setup.rar
Needs VB6
(64.46 KiB) Downloaded 14 times
Before you ask, no, I’m not giving my own serial to anyone! I own real PC and PS2 copies of the game.

< wonders if you mean “how does it automatically make the letters uppercase and switch to the next field”. If yes, then < is posting a snippet of the VB6 code < used:

Code: Select all

Private Sub Text1_Change()
    If Len(Text1) = 4 Then
        Text1.Text = UCase$(Text1.Text)
        Text2.SetFocus
    Else
        Command2.Enabled = False
    End If
End Sub

Private Sub Text2_Change()
    If Len(Text2) = 4 Then
        Text2.Text = UCase$(Text2.Text)
        Text3.SetFocus
    Else
        Command2.Enabled = False
    End If
End Sub
...
Private Sub Text5_Change()
    If Len(Text5) = 4 Then
        Text5.Text = UCase$(Text5.Text)
    End If
End Sub
This is what < used for verifying that all text boxes were filled:

Code: Select all

Private Sub Timer1_Timer()
    If Len(Text1.Text) And Len(Text2.Text) And Len(Text3.Text) And Len(Text4.Text) And Len(Text5.Text) = 4 Then
        Command2.Enabled = True
    Else
        Command2.Enabled = False
    End If
End Sub
< only uses generic control names like "Timer1" or "Text1" because < is lazy :P
