I'm pretty excited for the new album. It's nothing too special, but It's really got the nice, light feel of late 90's/early 00's alt rock.

I’m currently listening to Winamp’s demo.mp3 file:

Neat, I didn't even know they were making a new album. I can't say that song really did anything for me at all, but I'm always excited to hear new complete albums from some of my favourites. I prefer experiencing albums more than singles, it feels more like an interconnected journey that way. Songs can give other songs meaning that wouldn't be there if they weren't part of something larger.

This is some of my absolute favourite kind of pad ambience. The game is enthralling too.

Aaah, it moves around my ears :(

Listening to A Canadian in Mayfair, a very giddy, light piece. I'm not actually sure of the composer.

This is probably one of my favourite performances from them,

Aye, that's why I'm not huge about Best Of albums, just takes snippets of whole pictures. I especially like it when artists acknowledge it by adding things like interludes, songs that flow into each other, or even entire tracks that only work during the album (like Treefingers from Kid A). You might like Flying Lotus' Cosmogramma, it exists almost entirely out of 1-2 minute tracks that perfectly flow into each other and makes a perfect picture together.

Usually have this on during the road to Dallas, fits really well with the suburban night time environment, almost kinda intimate in a sense.

First heard this as part of the Little Mermaid Suite used in the film Hans Christian Andersen, it's stuck with me since. I didn't realise it was Liszt until yesterday though!
