I want a new 2D Rayman with the same game design as Rayman 1

Remove the emphasis on racking up points and rushing to the end of a level and instead focus on exploring the levels and getting immersed into the worlds. Also, bring back the Metrovania aspects and a memorable villain, whos omnipresence can be felt throughout the world.

Yay or Nay???

Those binoculars didn't add anything. If anything, it was annoying I didn't get to see the entire world map.

I never really liked any of the Rayman villains to be honest. They always kept their distance until the end (apart from André who was comic relief during the time he was forced to spend with Globox and Rayman). The magician in RO would have been pretty nice if they had kept the original script though.

The only good villain scene was from Rayman 2, where Razorbeard dreams of what he'll do with Rayman using the Grolgoth. We need more villains that show how evil they are and communicate with the player.

Oh yeah, that part were he imagined killing Rayman was cool.

Also, all of the villains were cowards who ran away when they were confronted by Rayman.
