Last time that happened to me was when I was 6 while I was testing my lockpicking skills.Fifo wrote:– Got locked out of our house

It *was* boring, as I couldn’t use my phone or computer.Tomazo wrote:Aww, it wasn't a boring day for you then...Fifo wrote:– Got locked out of our house

I see, I meant that I would get a heart attack if I got closed out from home.Fifo wrote:It *was* boring, as I couldn’t use my phone or computer.Tomazo wrote:Aww, it wasn't a boring day for you then...Fifo wrote:– Got locked out of our house

It's good that you weren't stranded outside your own home, but having an open window in your absence is a bit of a cause for concern, no?

Re: Pluses (+) and minuses (−) of this day
If it was me, I would get a hammer or some other tool, and just brake open the window. It would be recommended to do that when no one is looking, course.

I wasn’t out, I was near the door. But yeah, you’re right.Master wrote:It's good that you weren't stranded outside your own home, but having an open window in your absence is a bit of a cause for concern, no?

-- Woke up with a blistered toe (filled with blood) after someone stomped on me at football practice yesterday, my train was cancelled and when driving I got stuck behind a car-without-licence that can only drive up to 50 km/h. This day will be swell.

- A delayed train is what I've encountered, the day should be done, but the end has been countered.
+ Disregard my previous rhyme, it turns out the train was almost on time!
- Turns out the train won't depart, to the next train I go, here's hoping it can start.
+ On the way home, I go at last, but my original arrival time sits well in the past.

Thanks, Fifo. Didn't we have a rhyming thread before?
- Unfortunately in the middle of all that, I was carrying some supplies for the new year. Since the store didn't have large bags, I ended up having to carry them in my backpack. With all the switching and the like, I've done my back in a little.

+ Your rhyming qualms have incited inspiration;
my mood has risen to a state of jubilation!
- My joy, it seems, has come to its end
For mock exams are 'round the bend.
+ Eh, what the hell. Screw revision.
I'm gonna go watch television!

+ Passed my driving test!
+ All that rubbish is out of the way.
– Still have to go through the bureaucracy of actually getting my licence.

Congratulations, Plum!
- I still haven't got my license, I only started taking lessons again very recently
+ I'm progressing ok for now, but...
-...I need to do my theory test at some point, but with Uni stuff in the way, I worry about finding the time.

Re: Pluses (+) and minuses (−) of this day
Thanks Master.
Is the theory test quite complicated/difficult? Over here it didn't affect uni stuff too much (though it has to be said I was in first year at the time). Or is it the bureaucracy that would take the most time?
