Hmm, practice exam work? < knows the feeling. < tended to find it easier to revise in school/uni than at home, and usually with a group. Are there any revision groups or sessions ^ could take part in?Ambidextroid wrote:< is hopeless. < can't even concentrate long enough to compete a single test question. < wonders why < never feels anxious or never worries, and if that's actually a good thing. Bleh. <'s even procrastinating right now.
< just realised < seems to be able to read faster with one eye than the other, < wonders if that's got to do with which hemisphere of the brain is receiving the message quicker or if < is just imagining it

< indeed preferred Persona 3's story way more as well as its characters. Persona 4 isn't nearly as long as Persona 3 either, but both games can take quite some time to beat just for one playthrough.Bzzit wrote:Interesting. < wonders if ^ preferred the characters and story in 3. < might do a blind run through on normal first, then go back for another playthrough with a guide for stuff < missed like < did with Dark SoulsRayfist wrote:< also loves Persona 3 FES but despite < liking Persona 3 better than 4, 4 has the clearly better gameplay.
< can say Persona 4 is very easy on the normal difficulty but < really recommends you make some careful decisions so you can get that true ending and unlock the secret extra dungeon that was added to Golden

Well <'s mocks are tomorrow so it's a little late for that. < just can't concentrate on doing test papers at home, something about them that makes it particularly hard to concentrate but < can't put <'s finger on it even though actual school exams seem much easier to concentrate on.Master wrote: Hmm, practice exam work? < knows the feeling. < tended to find it easier to revise in school/uni than at home, and usually with a group. Tends to be the sense of dread and the fear that < doesn't seemingly get it for <. It's why < tends to prefer having group sessions, it's easier for the gaps to be covered. Still, < is sure ^'ll be alright, at worst, even if it doesn't turn out for the best, ^'ll know where ^'s weak spots are.

Thanks for the encouragement. <'s parents tend to get a bit temporarily livid when < gets bad results, but < never seems to have any fear of consequences for things like these. <'s only motive in school is if it's interesting, and if that's not the case then < basically halts and can't take in any information at all. It's a shame they stopped doing computing as an A level at <'s school, < was really excited for it but it was dropped at the last moment.

Re: The You Game!
They dropped computing? Right, < admits <'s biased on this, given <'s degree is in Electronics, but surely, with the rise of technology, computing would be a far more important topic to keep around?

Re: The You Game!
They did have computing as a GCSE but maybe it just wasn't popular enough to keep as an A level course. < only remembers there being about 10 people doing the GCSE, only maybe 5 of which who were actually interested.

Re: The You Game!
They should have started teaching programming concepts at this point in GCSE IT, right? < was sour about it not being a thing during <'s time in school, but < thought it was now a mandatory part of computer skills.
<'s getting more worked up about this than < should, it's just that with initiatives like the Raspberry Pi, coding should be far more accessible and encourageable. Granted, < understands not everyone has such a passion, but <'d have thought being able to command about machines would have been rather cool and alluring.

< decided to stay up late and add TTQ special 100th season promotion picture to sig. Gamemaker editing program ain't the best, as you can tell by the font look.
< will probably change it in a few days.

Re: The You Game!
Bear in mind that there's no guarantee it'd be used, as it's entirely dependent on whether < sees enough interest to justify doing a special season.
Right now, the only interested party <'s seen is Ray502, and while < is inspired by his enthusiasm, his interest alone isn't enough.
