Challenge of the Month is a monthly Rayman contest where you participate by completing a type of challenge the best you can. Challenges range from getting the lowest time, to getting the highest amount of something (Tings, Lums, score, combo score, etc.).
What games are involved in these challenges?
The main series games. This provides the most fairness than including the spin-offs (Educational games, Raving Rabbids, etc.).
How do I submit my score?
You can only submit your score through a video. The video can be uploaded to your own YouTube channel. If you don't have a screen recording software, you can download one here, here or here.
Can I submit a new score during a challenge?
Yes, you are allowed to submit a new entry to improve your score. This adds to the competitiveness, and doesn't give later contestants an advantage.
When is the starting date and deadline date for the challenges?
Challenges will start on the first day of the month, and the deadline will be on the final day of the month.
What are the rules for this contest?
Like every other contest in Pirate-Community, there are rules that must be followed. These are the rules as follows:
Cheating is not allowed under any circumstances. The following actions are considered cheating: editing videos, receiving a score from another member of the forum through PMs, pulling gameplay videos from other people, cheat codes, hacking the game or use of extreme glitches (IPG in Rayman 3 for example).
If you won two consecutive challenges, you have to skip the next challenge.
Failure to follow any of these rules, will result in serious punishments. Punishments from exclusion of a challenge to the contest in general.
What is the reward system for this contest?
For everyone who submits an entry and participates in the contest, they will get 300 Tings. The top 3 videos of the entries will receive the traditional first, second, and third place prizes. Third place will receive 500 Tings. Second place will receive 800 Tings. And finally, the entry that receives first place will receive 1000 Tings.
Are you only allowed one entry per month, or can you update your entry if you improve your score? Also, I'd recommend listing OBS as a good recording software, as it's free and doesn't have any watermarks or time limits. For Rayman 1 videos on PC, DosBox has a built in screen recorder which can be used.
Also, which versions can be used? The GBA and DSi versions are slightly easier, making your times usually a bit lower there. I also believe the Atari Jaguar version has some physics differences, so times would probably be quite different there as well. Perhaps PC, PS1, Saturn and mobile? Those are the most common ones and are almost identical.

You are allowed to submit another entry. I was originally not going to allow it but not doing so would cause a disadvantage to the contestants who submit one early, as they would have to hope the later contestants don't score better. Allowing a new entry adds to the competitiveness.
About OBS; thanks guys, link has been added to the OP.
If you've got an RPC account (which if you're posting here, you most certainly do ), then you can indeed edit RayWiki articles. You don't need to make a new account, simply log in to the Wiki with the same account as you have here, and you can edit articles at your leisure.
Alright, I always found the "14.1" showed on the end screen of the bonus challenge a bit weird, so after doing some analysis on my "14.10" magician time, I figured out that it is not legit and the correct time for it is 15.00. For some reason the game shows 15.00 as a 14.1, I have no clue why. So, I decided to upload a new one, it literally shows 13.58 on the end screen this time, so there is no doubt about that now. Sorry for any inconvenience btw.
